I thought Niki gave the best vocal performance of the night, very emotional performance. I thought Rhydian was very good - a showman like a cross between Max Headroom and Liberace, wierd but good. This season's Chico?
Rhydian had a very good opera voice.

Same Difference were awful, camp as scouts (not in a good way) and cheesier than old socks. They should have gone!

I don't watch it for the quality now - just a timewaster after work. Can be fun seeing how awful some of them are.

Thought Leon was very good singing "Home" (?) and Hope's performance of Lady Marmalade had much more sass than Leona...

What on earth was Louis thinking? Whenever I hear "Build me up buttercup" I think of "Something about woman" and how can you take it seriously after that? Awful song choice.

I still don't like Rydian but boy he is a good performer. His talents would work better in the theatre though. I cannot see him doing well selling albums, there isn't really a market for him.

X-Factor is a pop show, it's kids who will buy the winners music.

Rhydian was great, man that was a showstopper and the Phantom of the Opera song was perfect for him IMO. He had a very good voice. As you say Brad, he's a great performer.
Niki's vocal was outstanding.

Nikki was very good. I wouldn't say outstanding as none of them are outstanding. Given a few years experience Rydian could be though.

It'll be interesting to see how Rydian copes next week as the last two weeks he's been given big "show" type songs to sing which he has done really well. He would do well in theatre/West End I think.
Daniels performance of Build Me Up Buttercup was rubbish.

Obviously to be fair to him the song is rubbish. I love it as a good piss take but it's not a serious song. There was little he could do with it and Louis has ended up probably costing Daniel his career.

Same Difference were shit. They should have gone, I didnt know the song (I haven't seen High School bloody Musical). What a way to alienate most of your audience (older than 8 ).

I like The Foundations version. It's not supposed to be a "serious" song (whatever that means?) It's a catchy old school R&B number and it works fine. Who sings "Something About Woman"? Never heard of it.

LOL Oops. You knew what I meant.

I wasn't expecting to like it but it was on Sunday afternoon on BBC2 a few months back and I ended up watching it. It's really, really cheesy but strangely enjoyable. It doesn't mean I want to see the sequel though. Vanessa Anne Hudgens is cute too, especially when she's naked.

I do like Musicals though.

It's not like they could ever possibly appeal to anyone above 15.

She's naked in High School Musical?!

I didn't see the auditions/band camp etc Sam so don't know how the contestants are away from the show, Rydian seems OK to me. :?
That swing version of Can't Buy Me Love the first week was really, really bad.
I like some musicals too Brad.
"There's Something About Mary" Brad means. It's the film The Foundations' version was in.

I like Ridin and his Phantom rendition, and Incestuous were good with the High School Musical number. Everyone else, forgettable.

I missed the girl band perform but boy their clothes were tarty.

:D

It was a bit weird seeing Same Difference (how are they different?) sing that song as it's a love song between the male and female lead in HSM.

I cannot stand that phrase it bloody means "different" anyway, the same part is nonsensical. People never use it to mean "same". Not to mention it's an oxymoron.

No but I wasn't talking about the movie ;) . Naked pictures (Paris fashion) are on the web. Do you want me to MSN them to you? ;)

I think everyone got it ;) . No idea how I made that cock up.
