Mind you the R1 cover isnt that great either but at least it sort of looks like the other covers.

The previous Bourne films were never released on combos.

. R1 is getting a 4 disc box set though so fingers crossed it will get an HD-DVD release:

There is a box set of all 3 films coming to HD DVD. Seems to be same crap box the standard version gets. Probibly cheaper to just get the lot seperate anyway.

What pitiful extras though. The very first Bourne Identity release didn't do too part extras wise, since then they've been pants.

The in-depth Doug Liman commentary was more than enough quality extras, but then they dropped that and the DTS track from the "Explosive Edition". :x

And sadly all SD DVDs have been baced on the so called SE ever since. Thankfully the HD-DVD includes all extras from both the original and SE DVDs.

The usa HD-DVD is a combo, the uk one isn't. the uk disc is only £13.89 at sendit, only a quid more than they want for the dvd. the region 3 is a 2 disc set and out earlier,end of November.that's piss cheap using the usa cdwow voucher and dollar link.

well i already have the first 2 on HD so a box set is not an option for me. i'll get Ultimatum from sendit at £13.89. recently re-watched the first 2 and liked them better 2nd time around. here's the CD-WOW link

Cheers. That R3 cover art is way better than USA or UK cover art.

I'm dubious why it's on 2 discs though. I bet it's only 2 discs to sell more, there isn't much more there than the UK DVD. I see a director's commentary though, hopefully it will appear on the UK and USA DVDs.

I didn't think too much of Identity the first time I saw it and Supremacy's shaky cam annoyed me. I now think they're ace. Identity is the weakest of the three. I'd probably say Ultimatum is the best.

Can't wait. Whatever critics says, Greengrass is the shit. I don't get it why the Wachosky brothers still get cut some slack, while Greengrass get panned, he is way better than those nerdy directors. For instance, his experience of life, involve something else than sitting down on a couch watching videos, LDs and DVDs for years.

Most critics over here seem to like that. It worked fantastically in United '93 and also works in Bourne Ultimatum. I didn't like it so much in Supremacy but that was when I wasn't expecting it.
