I've not heard a sausage

It's a Universe title and I don't believe they're remastering DVDs like Mei Ah are  . It along with the two Fong Sai Yuk films (which aren't as bad) are the three films that need remasters the most of all time!

I've tried to watch it a couple of times and only managed to watch the first 10 mins the quality is so bad.

I have the French DVD (bootleg) and it's so gorgeous but even less watchable :(

p.s - TIA?

Why ? Is it because of the bootleg's subs ?

Thanks In Advance ?

Think harder :D

I don't understand Cantonese nor can I read Chinese subs and even if I had the official DVD I couldn't read French subs. The bootleg has Chinese subs instead of French subs (the official DVD doesn't have Chinese subs).

It only cost me 50p so I was happy to own it regardless of English subs.

It's a direct port from the French DVD so is lovely. I may one day be able to read French but until then I'm screwed sideways.
Thanks In Advance ?

I see.
Well, I happen to have the french subs (in .srt format) synched to the french DVD.
If you're interested (VERY interested), I guess I could translate them to english and post them.

You could then watch the DVD on your PC (via Zoomplayer-MPC-Whatever) with "my" subs.

What say you ?

Yeah, but they're synched to the Universe disc aren't they ?

Might be difficult to adjust them to the french disc.

WOW thanks Tom but as crazy as it sounds I'll pass for now. I prefer watching DVDs on my TV and have stacks of other DVDs to watch anyway.

I'll pm you if I change my mind though :)

OK.
Still, if you have the necessary hardware, I could teach you how to author a DVD with custom subs.

(It's not that hard).
