Anyone got good subs for Ong Bak ?

Oct is a long way away. But have my non eng subbed copy of Ong Bak sitting here. I rememebr it being really slow at the start of the movie, so thinking maybe eng subs will make some difference.

Aynone have a good .SUB or .SRT file ?

August is closer, which is when R4 and R1 come out.

The R1 will most likely be altered in some way and the R4 is no guarantee it will be a decent DVD.

We know it contains the DC but will it use seamless branching? Will it contain the IC and DC on 1 dual layer DVD? Will it branch out to the extra scenes? (ala the fucked up Volcano High R4) Will it contain the DC on disc 1 and the IC on the disc 2? Madman have said this will be their first EE 2 Disc DVD!

Going by past Eastern Eye experience of two cuts on one DVD it will be a mess! I'm not getting my hopes up.

Actually i was planning on playing the DVD on a PC with the custom subs, but cant figure out how it can be done. BSplayer allows custom subs, but doesnt play DVDs. Zoomplayer does DVDs but doesnt allow custom subs.

Any ideas ? Cant author my own DVD, since i dont have the tools, the diskspace or a burner.

I watched it using a DivX file but I don't have a clue how you could add PC subs to a DVD. I'm surprised it's possible.

I know how to author a DVD with custom subs but it's useless if you don't have the necessary hardware.
What you could do is make a very high quality DivX from your DVD and play it with BSPlayer.

EDIT: or even better yet: Media Player Classic can play DVDs and custom srt subs.
That's the player you need. 8)

That player rocks. Much, much better than the crappy WMP7-10.

I still use WMP 6.4 as WMPC has to many options for me when I don't need them most of the time. I love how it will tell you what codec you need if it can't find it and even tell you where you can download it.

I had a DivX file with a SRT sub file which I used to create a DVD with burnt in subs. It's only Stereo but it will do, the film isn't all that anyway!

Of course you can, but Jimmy said he doesn't have a burner.
That's why DVD authoring is useless in that case.

I agree. While I still use WMP 6.4 for MP3 and DivX files, I always decode WMV files through MPC.
It should also be noted that there's a player called VLC that can read pretty much every video file you could possibly find.

VLC is great but the interface is pants. I only use it for problem videos. Why do you use MPC for WMV? It uses the same codecs WMP6.4 does?

I use Winamp for MP3, OGG, WMA etc . . .

When I play a WMV or ASF file in WMP6.4, it takes longer to load it.
Also, seeking is slower. MPC seems to be more stable.

And I've never tried Winamp (too many features ) .

Right-click and save target as.

I think one of these subs is synched to the Thai DVD.
