That's what I thought, lol.... bless 'im. :D

THIS MOVIE IS NOT YET RATED 3/5

Interesting doc on those Nazis at the MPAA.

Loses marks for focusing only on the sex and falsely giving the impression that they never cut violence, though they are more lenient to it, and spending too much time with the P.I following cars, etc; though her daughter looked kinda cute.

Also, how could the appeals board give Gunner Palace a PG-13??? That surely means that with the exception of 'cunt' you can say whatever you like in a PG-13 and how ever many times you like? If not, then that's hypocrisy. The argument that the film is "real" and "important" doesn't hold water. Unless you want a ratings system that factors in a film's quality. So a classic would get a PG-13 and a piece of shit an R.

Those parodies are more funny than anything, Anoushka and Misty Mundae were nice, but you never see anything.
You rented soft porn?! What's the fucking point then?

I believe Grim said for the comedy.

I'd give THIS MOVIE IS NOT YET RATED 6 out of 10. It loses marks for alienating those who're not interested in film.

I found it interesting but most would find it a borefest. The PI scenes got a bit too much. I didn't get why that they were Lesbians was relevant?

I didn't think they were making the point violence always gets away with it but more that violence is completely out of contrast to sex. Sex is scrutinised incredibly more than violence at the MPAA.

It's crazy to think the MPAA doesn't employ professionals, at least the BBFC does that. That and you're not even told what causes your film to be cut, how are you supposed to fix it?

Captivity - 3/5

Watched the "thriller" version of this last night. It was surprisingly quite good, but a bit predictable at times. Elisha Cuthbert teases us with another nude scene but when will she just get them completely out on show god damnit?! Not being able to see her naked is the most frustrating thing in the world!

Vacancy - 4/5

This was surprisingly very good. Luke Wilson was excellent, Kate Beckinsdale didn't really have that much to play with, except being the damsel in distress, and it managed to keep me on the edge of my seat, throughout the (short) running time. The only thing that let it down was the abrupt ending.

Halloween II 2.5/5

Surprisingly decent sequel. I love Donald Pleasence's line delivery and Dean Cundey's atmospheric photography (I'd say the film looks better than the original). The director creates some good suspense and I'd like to see a dir's cut before Carpenter messed about adding violence. It's not as strong as you would find in a film today, but the scene where the ward sister is drained of her blood grossed me out (anything medical - like Laurie getting the syringe). lol.

I didn't realise it was on Digital TV. I saw it at the cinema then bought the R1 DVD. Has it had a UK release yet?

Are you still having Freeview problems then?

Yeah, sometimes I still have Freeview problems. Comes and goes really. Now I'm getting an excellent picture.

Yeah, This Film.. has a UK release on DVD.

http://www.play.com/Search.aspx?searcht ... =28&go.y=5

Blimey I didnt know it had 2 different sleeves :D

Hmmm... I could always take the cover art out of the CD WOW titles ;)
Not sure why I thought Anoushka was Indian (she's the Polish blonde) in the film. AJ Khan is who I meant originally.

That's a cool idea. Interesting to see they didn't censor the cover like they did for R1.

The R1 cover is the same as the UK Female cover but they slapped a big black bar over her backside. In an ironic way it does work though.

This Film... was on BBC4 last night.

That's where I saw it; I missed the first screening a few months back.

Heroes (season 1): 2 / 5

Can't figure out what all the fuss is about.

Terrible low-budget CGI, useless plot, too many badly-written characters, no surprises...
I've never been so bored by a TV show.

Did like Hiro, though. He was funny. :)

Watch out Romero will be after you now :D , he's obsessed with USA TV Shows. Most American TV shows look derivative and dull as dish water.

Take Smallville it's just a trashy American soap where everyone looks ridiculously pretty and act in such a way which is completely unrealistic. This is supposed to be the real side of Superman!

24 and Lost look good though. I almost put on 24 S1 the other day. I will one day, maybe when I've retired and have time for it. They're so long, which is odd as I find Doctor Who too short, British shows tend to be though.

Que Romero with a derivative reply, to save you time I'll write it for you:

"You're talkin' bollocks, TV series have more plot and detail than in any film. You're talking bollocks and don't know what you're talking about. All my friends think so too. Crap Smallville is an epic of enormous scale. It's better than most of the rubbish you must like."

Am I close? :D

Stop watching the crap on American network TV, all the top notch stuff is on their pay TV/cable channels. Plus those seasons only last 10-16 episodes, normally; quality over quantity.

For example:- The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, The Wire, Dexter, Rescue Me, The Shield, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The L Word.

No need to respond Brad, your a total Twonk and everyone knows it.

Maybe one day you will acctually watch a TV show, instead of talking about them as if you know what you are on about. They "look" haha

Your too busy wanking over sex docs for little 15 year olds on late night Channel 4.

Eva its pointless telling him what is good, he think "they" are all the same, as he is very slow and sticks them all together like he knows what he is on about.

The Wire is the bomb!
and Heroes is as well. Esspecially in HD.

Since when did I live in America? Am I supposed to know the difference between American Network vs. Pay/Cable TV? It's all American TV to me.

So Smallville isn't a Cable channel? Interesting. Fair enough otherwise.

Can't say i've sat and watched much of Smallville,my daughter is a big fan and has all six season boxsets,it must be popular as it's up to season 7 now. from the bits i have seen the bird who plays Lana (i think?) is damn hot but that guy who plays Superboy is bland as hell.i saw him in the Fog remake and couldn't carry my shopping bag let alone a movie :?

:D

Lana is hot, Louis is hotter. Since when did Clarke know Louis in Smallville though?

Since when did a show being unpopular stop the yanks churning out seasons? I'm sure it is popular but they sure do milk their TV shoes in America. Often way past their sell by date.

Is Louis, Lois' pre-op name or something?

Since the last few years. TV studios are cut-throat in the US, if you don't get the viewing figures you get axed. Simple as.

Hey if they can get as much wear out of them shoes as they can, that's a few bob's worth of costume money saved!
