Yes.
Interesting. So it's not a happy ending.

Great follow-up to Re-animator and a hell of a good DVD transfer.
I love this as well, Saw the monster hd rip and that was great, so will def get this soon, alongside Monster Squad and Basket Case 2. No mini review for the burning? :)

Eva,

:D

What is the film trying to say then? Lowry was obviously trying to escape from reality but couldn't do it in the end, everything ends badly for him, and isn't it his friend (Jack) who puts him in the chair?

hey,

Look at it as a happy end despite, grim. Mentally. That society early showed that it's turned inside out and turned inside on again. Lowry was one of many victims and now the work of an adminstrator. At least he went out on a happy mental note as I said

Death Race 2000 3/5

Cult 70's exploitation actioner has dated quite a bit but is still pretty entertaining.featuring Sylvester Stallone in a prominent pre-Rocky role,David Carradine stars as Frankenstein, the champion driver. i first saw this on a double bill with Enter The Dragon back in the late 70's,damn i'm old :?

Absolutely excellent thriller. I didn't know anything about the killings before I watched this film so it was all fresh & new to me. Even though his part was only small, Robert Downey Jr was excellent, as always & it was enthralling from start to finish. Excellent.
I gave Zodiac 7 out of 10 back in May:

It says something that back then I got the gist of the plot but today I don't have a Scooby Doo. It was definitely way to detailed.

The Messengers 1/5

Another pg-13 horror movie with the production values of a television film.hard to believe the guys who directed the classic "The Eye" were responsible for this rubbish.

The Lookout 3/5

Clever little thriller about a smart young man who suffers brain damage in a car crash and is reduced to sweeping floors in a bank.He then gets involved with the wrong people. Excellent performances all round here, pity Carla Guigno is only in one scene but this movie is worth checking out.

Hostel 2 - 3/5
Def need to be longer I think, the ending just seemed too rush, also you never see what happens to the 2nd girl. I kinda liked this movie, just don't like the way they just killed off the original guy in the 1st movie, why not make this a different story I also liked the way it shows from the business man point of view, how they bid and the build up to that day. That was pretty cool.
I remember there was a teaser in which Eli Roth, said the 2nd would be much more gorier than the 1st, well it wasn't. There was one good scene the hanging scene, but that was it. It looks like Eli just didn't follow it up properly, so I am hoping for an unrated cut, and check that out. I also like the way the film sets up the good business man and the bad business man, and how they switch, that was interesting, so for it merits, it is actually a good sequel, but just pissed that the director really didn't show more for the gorehounds.

Lord of the G Strings - 1/5

1 point for AJ Khan (sp?) and some attempt at nonsense comedy/humour.

Grim i'm shocked, lend me some of your stash :D

Knocked Up 2/5

Really disappointed by this,i'd heard good things and i quite liked the 40 year old virgin made by the same people. comedy about a one night stand resulting in an unwanted pregnancy is incredibly overlong (i stopped the disc as the credits rolled at 129 minutes) and just isn't funny enough.the lead characters are selfish & unlikeable though Katherine Heigl is hot 8)

It's not my stash, it was a rental. :)
Those parodies are more funny than anything, Anoushka, AJ Khan and Misty Mundae were nice, but you never see anything. Putting some naff music on during the sex scenes was probably wise.
