Do you still use a film camera? It's cheap to get a Photo CD done when you get them printed.

I still say 35mm cameras produce the best prints but on screen digital cameras wipe the floor with 35mm. That's probably because Boots 35mm to CD process sucks though and obviously scanning does.

I stubbornly stuck with 35mm for years only getting a digital camera last November. For simplicity, storage and ease of access they cannot be beaten. As the truth is most people look at photos on a monitor now digital is better.

actually i dont think this is true...the 2 panoramic images are from digital and film, the 2nd one, which is sharper, clearer and more vivid is from the 35mm film i took, the other was on a digital camera that my friend used....

How come neither you nor your travel companions are in any of the photos?

They're very well shot, but look like postcards rather than a holiday record.

I would've peronalised them more.

No offence but it really annoys me when people act all Prima Donna when a camera comes out.

Some of my friends will actively hide behind doors, walls, chairs, whatever to avoid their photo being taken. I don't get it, what's the big deal? What if that person suddenly dies?

As you guys know I've no problem showing my ugly mug on the Internet :D

well im not comfortable with my appearance, and thus i dont want it recorded in a photograph, so sure i will avoid a photo wherever possible, tho not the extent of hiding behind doors or walls, but behind my hand or a cushion usually. i'm far more comfortable with being behind the camera... however i do show close friends what i look like and vice versa...i just dont want it plastered over the internet is all too.

I'm the same. I also dont like my picture taken. Never liked it. Not even back when I was young and pretty. Drives my girlfriend crazy at times, as she wants pictures of the two of us. Obviously I cant dodge the bullet always, but still... I try... :)

She has a few pictures of me, though... so IF I suddenly die, she'll be a-okay(!)
