I'm off to Korea and China...

Post by thelostdragon »

Hey,

what's up guys? I'm leaving for Seoul on Monday. And if things go as planned I'm also staying two nights in Dunhuang, China (desert region unfortunately, but hey).

I know I haven't posted the promised pics from Italy, but will do so as soon as I get back from the Far East, along with pics from this trip. Coming back on the 19th hopefully.

Best,

Hussain

Thanks everybody. My trip is far too short. I definitely have to go back for a little tourism. :? Anyway, it's gonna be good to see something new.

I'm back. Didn't make it to China, but Seoul was a blast. I only had one weekend to have a look around the sightseeings, but what I saw from driving from office to office was still amazing.

No way dude...
In Hong Kong, Hello Kitty is everywhere, from stationary to toys to mugs to tshirts to underwear to happy meals to videogames to jewelry etc etc.

I bought my girl a silver/gold/white-gold Hello Kitty necklace when we were in HK ;)

LD: cool pics. Too bad you didnt have more time to check out the sights more, or go to China.

Now where's my present!? :D

Hello Kitty looks like Miffy (except she's a cat not a rabbit) from those books I had as a wee kid :P

Yeah... I guess Dick Bruna just ripped off Hello Kitty... or vice versa.

I'm not sure if I had those books. I believe we had, but not sure if they were for me, or my lil sister.

Obviously, we COULD go to wikipedia and look it up... but that just seems like too much effort... :D
