Nice pics from Kyoto... some were quite familiar as I just recently spent a week in Kyoto (with quick 1 day trips to Kobe and Osaka) and 2 weeks in rural Hyogo area.

These images themselves are just quick snapshots with cellphone camera, so nothing fancy technically at least.

Cool photos Aivansama, shame about that annoying logo.

I spent some time in Osaka too. I've not heard of Kobe, was it nice? Where is Hyogo? I am definitely going back next year. I think I'll go up North next time, some where more rural. That will make a nice change from Tokyo.

Yeah... imageshack was down when I uploaded pics to net, so I took first alternative I found with Google. Anyway, you can click them for bigger versions...

Kobe seemed surprisingly small place (relatively)... I did just very quick visit there. I basically just saw "shopping street" underneath railway, china town and Merkin park along the shore.

Hyogo is a prefecture (Kobe is the capital of Hyogo), but I spent most of my time (~2 weeks) in several little northern villages/cities of Hyogo.

Hyogo sounds nice thanks. I'll consider it for next time.
