You're so wrong! Come on, there must be people on this forum who agree with me that the action scenes are ace.

I loved the action in Casino Royale - the Parkour chase at the beginning in particular was very well executed. The end action sequence in Venice was excellent too...

the Parkour chase sequence is the only action set piece I remember from watching the film at the cinema. I think that says it all about the action scenes in Casino Royale.

I thought the Parkour one was just stupid, "ahaha let me escape vertically I'll never be found up a crane with horrible camera angles and motion." I don't remember much of the airport and Venice, nothing impressive really.

Casino Royale is nigh on perfect. Craig is excellent and so is all the action. A good as the Bourne films are Casino Royale is better.

And as to Bourne being more real? Have Damon and Greengrass actually watched Bond? How does Bourne finance all his aeroplane flights in Ultimatum? He also comes across as super human, he should be dead or badly hurt a multitude of times.

I'll just buy a Die Hard box set on Blu-ray when it comes out :P

I thought the 4th was OK, the action scenes were good though. But to be fair, the picture quality at the cinema was totally unacceptable, I was really tired and nodding off, and was dying for a piss for the whole second half of the film, so I imagine all of that would have spoilt my enjoyment of the film somewhat.

That happened to me when I was seeing Casino Royale for the first time. I left right after he won the game and when I came back his car is flipping through the air!

P.S. I too would buy a Die Hard blu-ray disc boxset but I will be getting DH4 on DVD when it comes out in it's proper R rated form.

The action is Casino Royale impressed me.

What about the brutal fights in the toilet and the stairwell?

The construction chase was breathless.

Eva Green and the Italian girl (who's name I've forgotten) are top totty.

Oh easily but Eva is has a more normal but attractive look, it's probably why they choice her. The Italian woman would've been too hot.

Eva Green by a mile. Not because of a certain Bertolucci film, not that it's unwelcome. :D

If that was their reason, then they have no idea of the male audience's desires.

I like women who are gorgeous but natural.

They have a "real" quality about them. Makes them seem like someone you could know and not a blow-up doll from a lad's mag.

I'd pick Eva over any of those glamour model types Brad likes because she's someone you could talk to as well as get turned on by.

Eva Green isnt really my taste. She's nice looking, and did a splendid job in CR and all... but I'd prefer Kate Winslet.
The Italian chick Bond hooks up with, is nice looking, although she looks a lil bit too old. Her face isnt 'perfectly smooth' anymore.

They were making a more real Bond film.

What an odd thing to say.
