Ex-pat blonde Aussie actresses who used to be on TV soaps are dime a dozen in Hollywood. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a chameleon effect on some people.

Its obvious from that you have not actually heard any of Holly's albums

just a few singles. Kylie while I like her is pretty crap to be honest singing wise and her songs are barley even songs, just dance with some bits of her voice in them. She stopped being a singer a long time agao..

Natalie is the best, but her last album wasnt quality thats for sure.

Most of the great songs by Elvis and Sinatra, etc were written by other people.

It's only since The Beatles everyone has to write their own material... and most of it sucks ass.

I was in HMV the other day and heard some girl squawking self-penned rubbish. I don't know who she is but she had an estuary accent (not Lily Allen) and was REALLY fucking annoying.

That is true, Sinatra and Elvis never wrote material but that doesnt matter

But I think the point with Torn is that when it came out everyone thought it was an original song (it was said it was) when it wasn't (I'm sure I heard about wrangles when Natalies version was released).

Yep correct Grim. I don't know if she claimed it was original but it was definitely implied that way. I seem to remember the writers being a bit pissed off by it.

Agreed. I like all her albums but do think the songs are beneath her too often, they're not sharp enough. She looked well hot in Shiver with that long hair. I don't much like her new short hair look though.
