hey,
Wuinu (Dancing Bull) 4/5
Allen Fong's film is one that on the surface is a triangle drama and a soap opera but his always captivating style that isn't stylish never threatens to make the drama clichéd. He just asks for viewer investment because he's not going to provide an answer sheet for all events in the film, centering around Cora Miao and Anthony Wong trying to make it as dancers. It's always a pleasure to announce that the investment is well worth it.
Shame Allen Fong's movies have been so neglected in HK and elsewhere there won't be any investment either. Considering he's won a number of Best Director and Best Movie Awards, it's quite puzzling but these are old flicks so...nothing for da kidz.

Thundercats - Opening Episode: Exodus - 3/5
Bit wierd revisiting this, I hadnt seen it since I was a kid. I remember the first 3 episodes were edited together into a movie called Exodus and released on VHS.
I couldnt remember how the Thundercats came into being. Lion-O starts out much younger than the others, I'm surprised the near-naked Cheetarah didnt make an impression on Lion-O's young mind (!) She was hot - for a half woman-half cat...
I never knew Panthro had nanchucks, but I do remember Snarf being very irritating, and so he was here.
The theme music was cool, and the series had a number of Japanese staff on it IIRC.

Samsara 3.5/5
Visually stunning tale of a monk and his desires for outside life and the resultant effects on his belief. Fairly moving story, but for those who don't like the rather slow paced dramas, Christy Chung and some well endowed Indian girl get their tits out...

hey,
Pink Force Commando 4/5
Imagine a parallel world where everything is possible. A wildwest town with 80s style grafitti, attacked by Ku Klux Klan Chinese guys in Nazi uniforms while a band of girls fight for trust amongst each other once more. Welcome to Chu Yen-ping's world of idiotic fun done with care to absurd detail.

Cannot wait to see this trashsaltysam wrote: The Condemned 2/5
Wow how many movies can one film rip offhas elements of Battle Royale,Hard Target, Running Man even Hostel. Overlong at nearly 2 hours this is still a watchable trashy actioner, Wrestler Stone Cold Austin is ok in the lead but Vinnie Jones acting is dire as the pantomine villain.

Grim, LOL, worthy of a signature that isgrim_tales wrote:Heroes - Episode 1 and 2: 4/5
Promising start, seems a bit slow at times. I love the Hiro character though, he's great
Did the actor who played the taxi driver, Nuresh (?) also play Sayid in Lost?
It spelt Suresh, an indian name
