Everyone knew this was coming. I've heard nothing but worst things bout Saw 3.

I've only seen the 2nd one, was quite enjoyable for what it was. Not a keeper for me though.

Personally I think Saw 1 was the best, Cary Elwes was excellent in this, and also love the way Tobin Bell plays jigsaw in all 3. Saw 2 was a fine sequel and Saw 3 is okay, I liked the story with Jigsaw and his student

Speaking of Tobin Bell, IMDB says that he turned 65 today.

Oh Christ, he's still around in Saw 4. For a guy whose supposed to be dying of cancer, Jigsaw sure is taking his time. They should rename it to "SAW 4: Assisted Living".

Saw 4 will be clearly be one to avoid, Lionsgate stringing out the cash cow even after the original creative team, James Wan and co., left the thing to rot.

Donnie Wallberg was quite upset when his character was brought back for Saw 4, contractual obligations obviously. It's bad sign when even D-listers don't want to be in your movie.

i like the Saw movies ,though i agree 4 may be one too many.but hey they make big bucks so can't blame the studio for carrying on.i have the unrated blu-ray of Saw 3,unless this director's cut is a vast improvement i won't upgrade.

hey,

a great short film concept dragged to feature length, creating only some fun bits in the process. But you guys are all right for liking it despite. :)

Ua3alayk!

Oh, I see. That's strange. It's been out in Germany for a couple of years now. I have the first season on DVD, but never got round to watch it, yet.

Not strange at all. Season 1 was has been available in R1/2/3/4 for years. Only just this year was Season 2 released (due to rights issues + David Lynch having taken forever to personally oversee the remastering), the one coming in Oct is the super-duper SE boxset with both seasons and remastered pilot, as Slasher said.
