Man I LOVE this film!

The laserdisc menu uses the same art as my ex-rental VHS, which I prefer to the DVD cover.

Looks a fine improvement over the old LD :) mines on its way (I hope)

The film was on TV a few weeks back (a sunday afternoon on Channel 5), one of the single worst transfers I have seen on TV :D hideous over cropped fullscreen was bad, but the actual print was beyond a joke, very scary!

I cannot wait to see the film again, its been ages and them extras sound really good, just how a childhood classic should be treated.

The new transfer is great but it does have some interlacing issues not seen in these shots. Still, we're lucky to have such a good edition of the movie finally. :)

having just watched it right through i would say the transfer is a bit soft in places.hopefully the transfer shown on Monsters HD will get a hi-def release eventually.
