Yipee, both have shipped now, Casio Royale R3 - £6.15 and Jaws: 30 Anniversary (Region 1) - £6.50 (If i gone to the cd-wow.com it was £12, so half price!!!!).

Excellent..

bradavon · Post by **bradavon** » 28 Jun 2007, 22:30

Generally you don't get 50% savings but you're quite correct some drop dramatically using the US Link + Code. I pay half price for the R1 of "This Film is not Rated".

Cd-wow are turning to shit- still waiting for my 2 orders that were released a while back, people over at dvdforums having the same problems, i won't be using them again till they sort themselves out.

gasteropod · Post by **gasteropod** » 08 Jul 2007, 23:15

I've been waiting for stuff from various places for weeks now, I reckon it's to do with Royal Mail. Maybe all the flooding?

saltysam · Post by **saltysam** » 08 Jul 2007, 23:36

nowt to do with the royal mail,cd-wow haven't even shipped the items

gasteropod · Post by **gasteropod** » 09 Jul 2007, 01:41

Ohhh.

thelostdragon · Post by **thelostdragon** » 09 Jul 2007, 02:17

Same here salty. I'm still waiting for "King Boxer", "Confessions of Pain" and "Love and Honor". I ordered them over a week ago and today I received an order conformation by email.

thelostdragon · Post by **thelostdragon** » 09 Jul 2007, 03:06

Also, is it normal that they charge my bank account for a pre-order title they haven't even shipped out? I ordered the LOST Season 3 boxset and they already charged my bank account.

grim_tales · Post by **grim_tales** » 09 Jul 2007, 08:05

CD-WOW have always charged on order.

Markgway · Post by **Markgway** » 09 Jul 2007, 09:11

They are slower than before... but I did get all my orders eventually.

Probably to do with that big warehouse fire in Hong Kong.

thelostdragon · Post by **thelostdragon** » 09 Jul 2007, 13:03

For real?

romerojpg · Post by **romerojpg** » 09 Jul 2007, 16:17

that's amazing.there are unhappy people all over dvdforums & avforums but you get yours quickly

romerojpg · Post by **romerojpg** » 09 Jul 2007, 19:37

Many thousands of people are getting titles as usual, forums focus on the negative ONLY, esspecially the wingers on certain forums as thats all they ever do wine and cry. I dont even care if I do have to wait, as I used dodgy vouchers anyway, so have many others, so some shoud be quite anyway or just cancel them if they are that unhappy I say.

I had Deadwood Season 2, Supernatural Season 1 and many others delivered that are not in front of me, no wait at all 3 days for them two alone.

can you post the link then where you got your information that 1000's of people are getting their titles as usual? cheers

romerojpg · Post by **romerojpg** » 09 Jul 2007, 21:07

Dont need a link to tell me that, its obvious. Just becuase some titles dont ship out, its not the end of the world. It always been like that with cdwow. Not hard to find loads of people saying they got their dvds, your just looking on the moaner forums I guess, plenty of forums I go to people are still getting dvds within a few days.

saltysam · Post by **saltysam** » 09 Jul 2007, 21:33

so you made the many 1000's of people bit up then

all i know i have 2 titles paid for one of which has been out over a month and they show no signs of shipping.Shit service in my opinion.

Markgway · Post by **Markgway** » 10 Jul 2007, 09:32

Yeah, but to be fair they have an excuse.

Their warehouse in Hong Kong burnt down.

I'm sure it'll take a little time to get back to normal service.

Fair enough, but then why is Romero getting his orders as normal then

romerojpg · Post by **romerojpg** » 10 Jul 2007, 16:00

As I have said many people on many forums are getting dvds as usual not just me, only certain titles are delayed, its always been like that. They seem to be the main forcus of the people not getting dvds.

Its shitty service, but to be honest cdwow has always been odd when it comes to pre orders, esspecially Region 3 cheapies which most people seem to be waiting for

as I said I dont care as long as I get em in the end, well if they dont go bust

saltysam · Post by **saltysam** » 10 Jul 2007, 17:05

i think they will go bust i'm afraid-the negative buzz around them will eventually put people off ordering from them.

Markgway · Post by **Markgway** » 10 Jul 2007, 20:41

Well I've just ordered a back catalogue Shaw Bros title from them... so we'll see how long it takes.

brooce-leroy · Post by **brooce-leroy** » 14 Jul 2007, 08:54

I've been waiting weeks for My Young Auntie DD R1 and Ghost Rider R3 from cdwow.

saltysam · Post by **saltysam** » 14 Jul 2007, 11:16

Ghost Rider 2 will be out by the time they ship it

thelostdragon · Post by **thelostdragon** » 14 Jul 2007, 11:17

I've been waiting for weeks now for all my CD Wow orders. Very unusual I say and they also don't reply to my emails. Also, they took down their contact phone number (the German CD Wow that is).
