Well Kurg - I ordered Preacher vol 1. See what all the fuss is about. Only thing is, I'll get it later this month - it's arriving with the final Potter book.

Hey Yi, did you start reading Superman: Birthright? What are your thoughts on it?

Hey Slasher. I havent got the book yet. I was in Amsterdam and it was 25 euro, so I decided to order it online instead, when I would be at my girlfriend's house, but I dont have my creditcard with me, so I'll have to wait till I get home this weekend so I can order it ...

Did browse through it a bit in Amsterdam, and I like the artwork/colorswork.
I'm not buying Batman Dark Victory and Long Halloween yet though.the version that's out now doesnt have great paper quality, so I'll wait till they release a new version on better (glossy) paper.
It kinda sucks that DC is so skimpy when it comes to paper quality. It really affects the quality, and thus my decision to buy it or not...

I did buy Dragon ball 5 and Dr. Slump nr. 12 or 13 or something.

Just read Batman: Dark Knight Returns (Frank Miller). Takes a while to get used to the art but the story and writing is top stuff. Difficult to imagine that prior to this, everyone thought Batman was a camp, crappy kiddie superhero.

Reading Iron Man Extremis next.

I was in Belgium yesterday, and picked up the first 10 albums of Largo Winch. I already had the first 4, but decided to buy them again to have them all in mint condition. They were 5,25 for a double pack, so in the end it cost me 26,25 for the lot...

Batman has been serious again since about 1969 - pretty much the second the TV show went off the air! - and Miller not only helped to confirm that to the public, he also bolstered the revenue of the character
