"Déja Vu" is a 12 over here as well. I have the feeling they stopped watching the films before rating them.

12 isnt hardcore like Bruce is saying it is, but hell a rating doesnt make the film, I still cannot wait as hey it cannot be bad surley! Its going to make cash any way you look at it, the lower the rating the more its probibly set to make, I am just suprised they didnt cut it back in the UK from a 15 to a 12A, more kids could see it then

In fact, if you look at movie history, R rated sagas that suddenly got PG always end up with the PG movie doing very bad business.

I am currently watching the first 3 films, one each night in preparation of the 4th film

I fcannot say it ever clocked with me why he says Yipeekayey in the films

makes sense now after re-watching part 1

so thats just a silly way to go for me, others it may be fine, but to me its insane to go from a review ever. They could have been paid to say good or bad things even

I think all reviews mean bugger all

theres noone on this planet that could stop me seeing a film I want to see, even if it got the worst review of all time. Die Hard 4 esspecially, as the other 3 films are so good.

Some people hate Die Hard 2 for god sake

and part 3, morons they be

Well, I say it depends on the reviewer. There are only a few reviewers I trust as I happen to have the same opinion as them on certain films.

So my advice is to check other film reviews by the author of that review. See if you agree to like 99% of them. Then I'd trust his opinion about "Die Hard 4.0". (Provided of course that you give a damn about reviews.)

Yeah, but most people don't feel the need to see EVERY SINGLE FILM THAT COMES OUT. So they need some kind of barometer to gauge what might be good and what not. For example: I don't need to go see 'Pirates of the Caribbean 3' to know it'll be utter crap. Of course critics can be wrong (often are); but as long as they give details as to why they opine as they do you can judge for yourself if their ctiricism sound reasonable. If someone simply says 'Die Hard 4.0' is crap that's not enough. If they say it's crap because they didn't like the first three then I would disregard. If they say it's crap because of bad writing and poor special effects then I may take notice.

I dont see every film that comes out, I see the films "I want" to see. Easy, that leave thousands of other films I may see if I can be arsed, but see the ones you want to first, no matter what others say.

I'd say we ALL see films we want to see. I doubt anyone would regularly sit down to a film they don't want to see

As for DH4, is the tag line still being used? I've not seen it mentioned anywhere any more.

Good to see it will be a 15 in the UK, that's something at least.

You would be suprised at what shit people will watch, I know normal people who go to the cinemas to see films they know they will hate, and do hate when they come out, Sad loosers. I know people who watch films, just becuase they are on TV, or just becuase someone borrowed them the dvd, no matter what it is. They are all wankers if you ask me.

Live Free Or Die Hard wasnt a tag, it was the name of the film for a long time. Then they thought better and dumped it for Die Hard 4 (never in my life gonna call it 4.0, what a piece of shit name that is)

4.0 is really weird, it's not a software program. Thankfully only the director, title card, poster and DVD will ever call it that.

It is good to see a film not given some stupid title and just settle on "Film: Number", like they always use to.

Well I watched parts 1,2 and 3 back to back over the last 3 nights, and its strange thinking of a film called 4.0 at all, I detest the .0 on the end so much, they could have called it anything and I would be happy, excpet 4.0

I dont mind a tag like Die Hard 2 - Die Harder

Oh that's okay. I meant when it would've been: "Die Harder" instead.

I saw Die Hard last night, cracking film. It works so well because of Willis obviously but equally because of Rickman whose excellent, and also the claustrophobic nature of it being solely set in a skyscraper.

IMO Die Hard 2 while good pales in comparison. It's really more of the same, with a much weaker villain and no claustrophobic nature. I've not seen Die Hard 3 for so long I need to see that again before I comment. I've never seen it in one sitting too, so really cannot comment on it.

Isn't it still being called Live Free Or Die Hard in the USA? I thought they were getting that title while the rest of the world gets Die Hard 4.0?

I think its Die Hard 4.0 over here because of the computer-aided terrorism plot-line thats supposed to be involved.
