Pedicab Driver 2 disc SE!

Post by grim_tales »

Hey,

I remembered how everyone was saying how there isn't a DVD release of this film, then I looked at HK Flix and found this... maybe not brilliant but at least its something if you like the film.

BOOTLEG ALERT!!!

All Panmedia titles are unauthorised boots. You'd be mad to pay $20 for it. Get the original MIHK tape if you can.

I'm not sure it's a bootleg but more a VERY dodgy company. A bootleg can only be that if it's illegal!

Besides if it's a good quality bootleg I wouldn't give two hoots where it was sourced. Some bootlegs are better than the official DVD!

Yeah you're probably right Brad. Mark probably means theyre bootlegs in all but name but I can't see a legit company knowingly selling boots. Surely they're the ones who want to combat piracy? :?

These DVDs ARE illegal. Pan Media steal their source prints from pre-existing versions. Take for example all their Shaw Bros titles. NONE are officially sanctioned by copyright holders Celestial. Note: Pan Media boots aren't sold at any legit stores that I know of. HK Flix use flimsy (and false) excuses to justify stocking them. The last I heard Warners still own Pedicab Driver.

Remember those links please. It only wastes time having to ask obvious questions.

p.s - Salty was that using a home DVD Recorder? What was the output quality like? As good as the original video?

Yeah I like that one. I'm sure there would be a classic lol smiley like on Old Bullets somewhere that we can import.

Yeah, is there anyway to get those old emoticons back?

Some of the new ones are alright... but some aren't as good.
