Musado - Our Demoreel...

Post by thelostdragon »

Yo,

I can't remember if I posted this here already. If I did, please delete this thread.

Anyway, sometime this year I shot some footage at the TKD school I train at and edited a demo video. It actually took some time to motivate myself to edit it and everybody was bugging me like, "When can we watch the video?"

So I decided to create a really short teaser, which can be seen here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDy6xGqYtSM

And after a month or so I finished editing the whole video which is here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RbmyUVKv-s

Hope you enjoy them. If you have a YouTube account, please rate them high and leave your comment.

Thanks dudes & dudettes and enjoy watching. 8)

GRIM!!! GRIMMMM!!!! THE VID HAS AN ASIAN CHICK IN IT!!!! GRIMMMMMMM!!! QUICK! WATCH IT!!!

:D

Anyway, cool vid, LD. Like the music in the first 30-60 seconds.
Also like the guy in the middle of the vid, who kicks the two ballons, then kicks the board upwards just to smash his head into it :D :D :D

I love TKD combinations :D Not a great sport to watch on TV though.

Thanks, Yi! Yeah, the board really hit his head, but it wasn't painful.

We could play "Soundtrack Mystère". The intro music (30 - 60 seconds) in both the teaser and the final demoreel are from popular films each. The one in the final reel is from a Korean film. If I give away the countries of origin of the intro music in the teaser you'll know the film right away.

So let the guessing start. :D

Gawd, I wish I had a memory. I'm really crap at these things, so I stand no chance. Plus I havent seen many korean movies, so that doesnt help things. :)

BTW, LD ... have you seen the german dvd versions of Princes Aurora, City of Violence and Arahan? And if so, how was the quality!?

The double disc editions of all three films are really good. Unfortunately, there are only German subs for the films and extras.

Well the reason I asked is because they have been released over here in Holland (single disc versions).

And the reason I asked here in your thread, is cause you didnt respond to me when I asked over a month ago in MY thread :D

Thanks man :)

Anyway, back on topic: GRIMMMMMMMMMM!!! You're missing out on the azn chick in the vid, man!!!

Thanks! LOL, which of my film projects? I'm sure you're talking about this one:

It's actually coming along just great right now. We have a fixed shooting schedule. Contractually I'm not allowed to give away too much, but what I can say is that there have been one hell of awesome developments in both storyline and cast.

Before you do that you should definitely consult more than one doctor, gather their opinions and then decide based upon these opinions.

Pffff... what do doctors know(!) ;)

Nah ... maybe you should just try Tai Chi, which looks dumb when you see ugly fat white people do it, but still... it could help you. It IS a martial art, it wont strain your joints too much/violently, and it will build your body to maybe in a few years be ready for a harder style...

Plus slow tai chi might look boring as hell, but when you see some experts do it, and occasionally they speed up their moves, it looks great. A bunch of years ago a former Beijing Wushu classmate of Jet performed Tai Chi at the Bercy Martial Arts Gala, and she looked great.

Ow, I totally agree that TKD and Wushu are among the most fun martial arts to do (at least, for me, cause I'm flexible and fast... other guys might prefer jiu jitsu or kickboxing), but since your body cant handle that at this moment, and hopefully in a few years, it CAN, you really shouldnt take the risk. You could make things worse. With now dedicating yourself to Tai Chi you can take maximum opportunity of this time that you're too injured to do the other sports. And in a few years your body will be fit, and you can easily adjust to wushu/TKD or something like that.

But yeah, it sucks to be limited, physically. I've been there as well (torn hamstring) and it just totally limits your options.
