I guess its a rule and I have been warned a few times on certain threads,
even simple things like theres a company that noones allowed to speak about on the site and when people ask why? or who? etc... they get told off.

I thought it was a joke at first, but I have seen quite a few people told to shut up or they will get a black mark against them, I have no idea why or who the company is, but it regulary pops up in conversations on the site and nearly every time someone jumps out and says be quite or else. I for one want to know why and who they are and what they did that makes there name so bad?

Is it OK to use Standard shipping ($2.96) with Soon or should I ignore that and go first class ($5.98 )?

Use the cheapest Grim. The delay with DVD Soon is with them shipping the parcel once it's left DVD Soon (i.e - where the delivery method kicks in) it takes no time at all.

I get my DVDs from them at that rate only a few days after they're sent. The part where it says how long it could take is just DVD Soon covering their backs.

Is it CD WOW??? I know talk of their vouchers is banned but I guess it can't be as they have threads about them.

It makes me laugh when the mods at DVD Forums get annoyed when you call them Nazis or the like, which in itself is a very strong word but they do run the site like a Hitler state sometimes which everyone sees except:

1. The arse lickers there - who really get on my nerves
2. The mods

Still it's a useful place to visit even if it's run rather oddly at times. I just wish they'd allow for leeway with their rules I've had occasions where I've broken the rules when I didn't even know the rule existed. It's simply not practical to look at each rule every time I visit (to see if they've changed, which they do fairly regularly).

They've said the rules don't change often which isn't strictly true as every month a new rule seems to appear for a particular thread, they're hard to miss hidden in all the other general posts. I tried to explain this once but it got me no where.

Anyway like I said it's a useful site with lots of useful information :)

OMG I see what you mean Romero.

I've read bits of the "Alexander" thread at DVD Forums and the mods are threatening to give people black marks for NOT mentioning a websites name. It's pretty sad really, you get a black mark for merely mentioning a website which btw I don't see in any T&C so how members are supposed to know is beyond me?

Eliza is gorgeous but neither are worth sitting through the film when they don't even get neked. This has nothing go for it bar them two.

Hey Brad/Romero/everyone,

DVD Soon Free Shipping is back!

http://www.dvdsoon.com/free-shipping-conditions.xml

It only works with DVD films but the link seems to suggest its for EVERYONE not just people who have the fidelity card... :? :) There is no minimum amount to order or number of items.

But...ATTENTION
To benefit from this offer, you must choose the Standard carrier in the 'Choose Carrier' section of the checkout process. This offer only applies to DVD movies (CDs, SACDs, games, accessories and consoles do not apply to this offer).

FREEE SHIPPING is superb for you lot with no I Card, well you would think it was but its a lie sadly!!!!!!!!

basically all they have done is increase the titles price slowly so most are now at least $3 more in price!!!!!!!! so basically you are paying for postage! and people like me with a I Card are stufffed as we paid for the card for the free shipping, so they shafted us who paid! and shafted people with the Free Shipping  WANKERS! they really dop take the pee.

(but biy they are still cheap :( so I have to buy )

As long as they dont raise prices to other sites levels I am ok, but the fact I paid $50 for my i card is a bit to grumble over.

I often find CD WOW & DVD Pacific as cheap tbh or little in it if they aren't. Both have good customer services though!

dvdpacific i still use but for some reason their shipping seems slower for me recently, wow are ok but pricey on some stuff (team america is £13.99 there so even with vouchers it'd be hard to get near soon's price).

Hey,

How do you cancel DVD Pacific orders?
When I ordered Dressed to Kill I chose Int'l Surface Mail (9-20 business days) which sounds very slow. Is it best to use Int'l Air Mail? That would be faster.

Nope use the cheapest. It won't take 9-20 days, more like 7-10 days.

I believe you can login to your account and cancel order.

OK, thanks Brad. :)
They say 9-20 business days which seems ages but its only $3 after all. Previously I've only ever used Airmail shipping with Amazon.com and the like.

So did I but in reality both take about the same time. It "could" take that long hence they put it.

Any new bargains for DVD Pacific or DVD Soon?

And no Romero that doesn't mean you can post saying "DVD Soon has stacks of bargains so go looking". I'm after specifics.
