I still think the DVD companies should put optional subs in a black bar so that we can understand the film better

hey,

MAYBE, but don't count on it, this series of Crash's will include that. Still will personally stand by the fact that The Sword is very easy going when you're into it, including readability of the subs.

Maybe a notorious bootlegger will add subs and insert phrases like "Money talks, nigga". True story. Am never looking upon The Valiant Ones in the same way again. :D

Kung Faux was awful, if anything it made me more reluctant to see old school kung fu.

hey,

wasn't even referring to any parody. On the unofficial dvd of The Valiant Ones, Panmedia added optional, heavily sloppy subs over the Japanese ones and one line they came up with was indeed "Money talks, nigga". Now, I'm no expert on the Chinese dynasties through history but I'm fairly sure, it's sliiiightly out of place. ;)

That'll teach you to support Panmedia!

hey,

no other dvd of the movie. They could've for once done something good. Well, not only were the subs sloppy but out of synch so that is being worked on in order to create a better dvd for personal use.

I put on the 60hz NTSC anamorphic interlaced '7 Grand Masters' on my Gran's widescreen PAL TV at PAL60 and it showed noticable 'gaps' in between (not the type of viewing non-deinterlaced material on a progressive display). The only expected problem I had.

That sounds like what I was experiencing. I'll check the manual

7 Grandmasters - neat!

The other Crash Masters title I fancy is Knight Of Old Cathay. Looks interesting
