Blood & Bones w/Engligh subs - any news?

Well, the Korean release of Kitano's new film is coming out soon, but to my dissipointment it shares the Japanese edition's lack of english subtitles. I was just wondering if anyone knows why this might be.
I strongly doubt that its been picked up by Luc Besson or something, and generally speaking that is the only reason I know of that would cause a Korean dvd of a Japanese film not to have english subs.

I was looking forward to seeing this film, but I guess its going to be a little while..

Yeah this surprised (and disappointed) me as well. Most Korean titles do include English subs but every now and then, the occasional title ends up without them.

Next bet is a possible HK release I suppose...

There are fan subs going about but they are painful to read. Avoid.
