Good Will Hunting. 4 outta 5.
Nice feel-good movie, some good acting by pretty much all involved. Matt damon plays a smart dickhead with some dumbass but loyal friends.
Only criticisme you can give it, is that it's your very typical american feel-good drama, about a troubled soul on his way to fullfill his destiny, dealing with shit along the way. It's basically Seabiscuit with Damon as the horse and Robin Williams as Tobey, the only one who can relate to his problems and can bring out the best in him...
It's also got the feel-good Hollywood ending.

TBH, I dont care if it's predictable, when it's done right. You can feel the movie has a heart, it has all the right ingredients, the cast is great, etc etc.
Just a very good movie.

Snatch 4 out of 5

Loved it! Not on quite the same level as Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, but quite enjoyable fun, all the same. Brad Pitt was in 12 Monkeys form, spewing jibberish as the Pikey with a Punch. Wish Benicio del Toro had been in a bit longer than he was. ;) The only thing this film was missing was Sting!!! But since Vinnie Jones was so ruthlessly wonderful, it's okay. :P And Squeaky the Dog? :D

"You can keep the silly fat wanker; the lads can't lift him!"

I actually preferred this film to Ritchie's first, as I just felt it was cockier and more assured. I still quote the film endlessly.

P.S. The UK DVD has subtitles for Pitt's character, so you can finally make out what he's saying :D

Except, IIRC, the scene where he's saying what kind of caravan he's like.

Maybe Slasher has seen it.
Wierdly the UK DVD looks to be a part of the R1 (?) with the US MPAA logo at the start.
Of course I have seen it, I really enjoyed it :). Yes UK Indian dvds are sometimes direct ports of R1, including the MPAA logo

I shudder at the thought of Robin Williams riding Matt Damon like Seabiscuit!

Radiohead - OK Computer - 4.5/5
Revisiting an old favourite. Still as awesome now as it was in 1998. The climax of their pure guitar band roots and a glimpse at the subsequent crawling up their arses with later albums. I mean come on, The Eraser? WTF was that shit?
