Scotland v Italy
Aye we lost an early goal in the first half. Shame, but hopefully we can catch up in the second.... Had one or two chances....

Yeah. Scotland weren't actually that bad, EXCEPT on the two goals. Very poor on both. Maloney and the other guy who gave the ball away leading up to the 2nd were definitely to blame for that one.
Gordon made some great save, but only a few were needed. Other than that, Italy may have outplayed us, but they weren't dominating the game like you'd possibly expect them to.
2 lapses in concentration and we lost 2 goals.
Miller has his moments, but I'm not convinced by him at all. He doesn't convert enough of his chances.
All in though, even though we'd love to qualify, losing to Italy 2-0 IN italy isn't really that bad a result for a country like ours. What would you have said to only losing by that much during the Berti Vogts reign?!
