The falling 5 stories bit was great, previously I thought that paralysis occurred after he was hit by a car in a previous flashback ep.
After dragging along for sometime Season 3 is really starting to pick up (Like the one where Jack is fucking around in Thailand with Bai Ling, how fucking redundant was that?), the first great episode of the season was prolly the Desmond time travel one.
Hey guys... am I imagining something or is Locke's dad not meant to be dead? I thought in Season 1 or 2, Locke's flashback had him going to a funeral? Or was that another scam. Mem's a little fuzzy.
Haha, your memory is a little fuzzy, Bisc. His dad faked his own death to avoid those two men who were after him due to a retirement con. They then visited Locke to see if he had seen his father since his 'death' and checked his bag to see if he had the money. Remember now?
If I remember correctly in 1 x 18 as Hurley was in the high rise talking about the4 bad luck of the numbers a man fell down. outside the window... was it Locke? Was Hurley in the high rise at a lower level?
Yep, I'd have to say that "Expose" was a completely fun filler episode that did nothing to move the plot forward. Still, I loved every minute of it. If only all of their filler eps were as fun and nasty as this one.
Oh, and on a sidenote, for any viewers who are interested in seeing a "wider range" of the actor who plays Tom, there's a pic of him in the DVDMystery thread that I posted.
Careful, Kurgan, someone might not have seen that episode but for some bizarre reason decides to view this topic which is used to talk about the latest episodes of Lost
Slightly above average but disappointing flashback, mediocre progession of the plot. The Hurley/Sawyer scenes were nice though. Didn't think much of the smoke monster - nothing we haven't seen before (apart from it can't get through the barrier).
Smoke monster scenes are NEVER boring. And actually it was something we hadn't seen before - it came out of the ground in THREE snakes, which then joined together into one mass. We did not know it could do that.

Ep 16, "One of Us" was rather good, I thought. A shame it's taken so long to get back to the type of episodes and writing that made us love LOST in the first place. I'm quite eager to see what happens next, but wonder how much of its viewership LOST has lost.
Oh, but one comment about Juliet:
I think she's playing both Ben & Others, as well as the Losties. It was a line she said to Ben in the episode, something about "I've always been on my own," or something like that.
One more little bit of speculation: I wonder how she felt about Ana Lucia offing Goodman? Was he more than just some side action to her? From her faraway look while she was eating in bed, I'd say he didn't really matter to her, but that's just me guessing.
