Just out of interest, how did you come up with that guess? You couldn't have been exposed much to western reviews if you're unfamiliar with the English title. Do you just have a rifle through cdjapan and go by the cover close ups they provide?

I couldn't think of anything so I checked the first few pages of cdjapan's dramas with english subs and copy-pasted one title.

Ah right, well I can give you a tip when it comes to guessing LD's Japanese film grabs: They're almost always taken from r3hk DVDs. :D

Almost always? The last one came from the German DVD release.

 Ah that explains why the quality was slightly better than my r3hk dvd of the film. :D

Anyway, bag to my round, no one's got it yet, hopefully you'll find this grab easier:

I knew this yesterday, but I thought you said it was a recent film (just noticed "not" whilst reading again).

I think it may be Terence Malick's Badlands? Looks like Martin Sheen in the grabs anyway, so sorry if I'm wrong. :D
