Why are the Bruce Lee movies "18"?

China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Thailand, etc

My guess is:

SITES has a stabbing/Hwang Jang Lee ripping Fong Hak On to bits.
Big Boss has bloody stabbings/lethal punches.

Kinda stuff like that, I think I'd be quite good as a BBFC guy 8) .

Following on from this, I'm not sure why Dragons Forever is an 18? The fights aren't exactly suitable for family audiences, but its no more violent than something like "Police Story" IMO.

My guess would be because a woman gets her head smashed thru a window.

But not by head.

I don't think it's that. It's the 'forceful' drug use and deadly blows (guns with an instant kill - just bad nature).

Very 18 8) .

Dragons Forever is an 18 because it combines violence with drug use. Cut the scenes of Sammo being forcefully "doped up" and Yuen Wah's rather nasty death and I'm the sure the BBFC would gladly slap a 15rating on it.
