I hate Criterion double cases
Just had a look at Criterion "In the Mood for Love" - it looks a nice set, but grrr why do Criterion use those double cases, they are too big and it took me 5-6 goes before I figured how to get the discs out
They seem to play fine (just skipped through the film) but have some fingermarks on them now

They're completely pointless. Poor hub design & they take up twice as much space as a double Amaray case! I hate them too.
I'm tempted to scan & modify my The Rock criterion case so I can put it in a double Amaray instead.

I hate pointless threads more
(Joke). Seriously yeah they're annoying.
The hinged ones are the best.
Romero loves these CC cases, and can't stand hinged ones (I think)

They're only use them so it makes the product bigger so they can charge their expensive prices. Sure they can be worth it. I have a few but they are expensive.I actually kinda like them. They just feel like...more...or something.
Agreed those are annoying.I hate the double cases that instead of having the middle disc holder have both discs stacked on top of eachother. That's just stupid. It's a double thick case, put the damn divider in the middle that holds the first disc.

Eh? My copy of T2: UE is in a double amaray case which has a metal wrap around it. Its definitely not an alpha case. Do you have a different version that I don't know about or something?grim_tales wrote:Wierdly its very easy to get them out of say, the double disc alpha case of T2 (UE R1)

There's a silver double disc alpha case with a cardboard slipcover like the metal slipcover.IronMonkey wrote:Eh? My copy of T2: UE is in a double amaray case which has a metal wrap around it.
