Who's watching the snooker?

Post by grim_tales »

5-5 Jimmy White-Mark Williams in the Masters 1/4 finals. Come on Jimmy! :D

I'm just used to calling him Jimmy White :D Apparently he changed his name or something (?) to Jimmy or James Brown because of a deal with HP Sauce :D I wouldnt change my name no matter what money I was paid.

Shame Steve Davis is out but oh well :( Stephen Hendry lost last night too.

Yeah, would of been nice, but I like Ronnie too. :)
Did you notice how the BBC commentators kept mispronouncing Ding's name? It should be Ding Jun H'way or something like that? :? Not Ding Jun-WEE :D

i stopped watching snooker after Jimmy White got crap and didnt retire. I know he's still one of the best players in the world but he used to be a marvel to watch in his hey day. These days its all maths :P

:D

Yeah I know what you mean, who does Jimmy play in his next match?
I'd like to see Steve Davis go through but he's 6-2 down to a young guy (Michael Holt) I think...
Did you see Mark Williams' 147? Woo-hoo! :)

Steve Davis beat Michael Holt 13-10 in round 2 but got his ass kicked by Shaun Murphy (sp?) in the 1/4 final and lost 13-4. :(

Oh well.

Ronnie lost to Ebdon :o Congrats Peter.
I heard Ebdon had some awful time wasting tactics (he would take almost 5 mins to take a shot at 1 point) but Ronnie was courteous and said he didnt blame the tactics for the loss (I think).

:)
