Does anyone know of a site that details the differences in the film between Zhang yiimou's Hero theatrical and director's cut?
Cheers.

All I can remember is that the DC is ten minutes longer.
-The fight on the lake is told from another angle.
-The Maggie/Ziyi fight in the golden forest is longer and slower (the pace fits the music better).
-There are two very short Tony/Maggie and Jet/Ziyi fights.
Most of the extended stuff consists of added shots, though. Nothing major.

I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

Subtitles were different (like Edko although in better wording/placement) compared to the made-up ones Miramax created for the cinematic release but the "Our Land" concept remained.
I avoided it as I thought the dumbed down ones Miramax made up would be used
