Animal Cruelty Sports - Good or Bad? / Sign the Petition
I'd like to discuss fox hunting and all the people in the UK try to repeal the ban but figured we should open it up to general animal cruelty sports such as:
1. Fox Hunting
2. Bull Fighting
3. Rodeos
Personally I don't think the Hunting Act 2004 went far enough, there are so many loops holes it's ridiculous.
So are animal cruelty sports inhumane or a bit of fun?

If you live in the UK you can also have your say on whether the fox hunting ban should be lifted or stay:
1. 22017 Signatures - For the ban - http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/antihunting/
2. 737 Signatures - Against the ban - http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/huntingactrepeal/
There are also 3 other duplicate "For the Ban" threads. I've signed them all but the one above looks to be the main one:
97 Votes - http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/keephuntingact/
64 Votes - http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/oppose-fox-hunt/
39 - http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/notohunting/

No problem:
"I think it is right to kill foxhunter and bullfighters. Those bastards don't have any respect for animal lifes, so why should we respect theirs?
I think it's amazing that these sports are not outlawed."
Thanks for the PM, brad.

FYI Fox hunting is banned in the UK and has been since 2004 but it's NOT in Ireland where it does go on. I also hear Bull Fighting the majority are for it.Yi-Long wrote:I think it's amazing that these sports are not outlawed
The Fox hunting ban has many loopholes however including just foxes being banned. Deer, hares etc... are exempt.
No worries.Yi-Long wrote:Thanks for the PM, brad.

Bull Fighters are pure scum of the earth, its hilarious watching them dope up the animals, then play mind games and make them insane, then slowly bleed them to death and finally get in the ring with them! way to go Bullfighters, your amazing, go kill a real Bull that isnt fucked up, or better still stick a Rhino in with the prancing wankers and let them twats get ripped to pieces.

The BIG sad thing is the people doing this really think they "deserve" the right to kill innocent animals, in fact most of them think your scum for even thinking they are in the wrong.
The posh lot in the UK who parade around like idiots really grate on me, they used to come in our local fields all the time even thought they were told Not to, but you try proving they destroyed peoples property to catch some little defenceless fox. They used to just tell people to F Off when someone stood up and said get off our land, as hell you try stopping 50 idiots and there 50 dogs
lock them up I say, tresspassing is what they do best, that and being dicks.

I completely agree. The extremist animal rights movement gives the rest of us a bad name.romerojpg wrote:The BIG sad thing is the people doing this really think they "deserve" the right to kill innocent animals, in fact most of them think your scum for even thinking they are in the wrong.
I've seen some of that too, shocking.romerojpg wrote:tresspassing is what they do best

Thats one law in america we need to some extent, as anyone can come on your property and do almost anything and they dont get wrong for it. If you try to stop them you will end up in jail, thats a sad state we live in
but hell it is open to abuse, but a lot of the cases in the UK get to me, someone comes in your house and takes things you own, you try to stop them and they get hurt and you end up getting taken to court, sickening laws in UK.

Memo to homeowners from T. Blair.
Re. New laws to come into effect Feb 6th:
1. If a burglar (property removal expert - burglar has too many negative connotations) breaks into (enters uninvited - as breaks sounds too forceful) your house you must offer them a couple of tea (not too hot mind or you'll face a personal injury compensation claim) and a biscuit (nothing that crumbles as ickle pieces make get stuck in their throats and again you will be sued).
2. Rather than scare off the burglar by wielding a weapon such as a baseball bat or (heaven forbid) a blade of some kind try reasoning with them (they are human just like you and me after all). Offer a sympathetic ear. If said ear is cut off in a frenzied unprovoked attack you may dial 999 to suggest a Police removal. That's only if you're on the verge of extinction and if said Police have time away from paperwork and filing (must keep a neat office you know). And remember ask politely. Shouting desperately gets you nowhere.
3. If by some horrendous chance you accidentally (you wouldn't mean such a thing would you?) execute (another ugly word) a property removal expert you will first try to revive them (give them some of your own blood if necessary) and if that fails pay reperations to their families and colleagues. We can't have traumatised property removers as who knows what the poor lambs will be driven to. Revenge against the homeowner would be entirely justified we feel.
Thanks for listening...

interesting...i disagree with animal cruelty in all forms.
we were discussing this in philosophy today, animal rights, looking at the arguements for an against. interesting topic. imo if you can respect on life-form, you can genereally respect all. its quite astounding how many people still think of animals as lesser beings, when in fact many species are animals are as highly functioning as us. living in societies, expressing emotions and reasoning and the ability to think retrosepctivley. though by that reasoning, we should treat primates better then we do, and domestic animals like shit as their psychological abilites are quite beneath that of primates...
anyway...animal sports...should be banned outright in every form.
