I noticed the BBFC "18" logo on Killzone as well. I wonder if that means DD will release it in the UK? :?

Say no to bootlegs. Only yes to those that release good, English friendly OOP titles. :D

Oh definitely. Like the FoF PE had an interview with the action choreographer of Big Trouble in Little China/They Live (Jeff Imada). Other than being a practitioner of Jeet Kune Do, WTF did have to do with Bruce Lee? :?

But that's nowhere near as rediculous (and hilarious) as Sony's need to put Philip Rhee's commentary on their release of THE PRISONER (Island On Fire). Why in the hell isn't Philip Rhee doing commentaries for his own movies?!?!

Philip Rhee was actually pretty damn good... but never escaped those DTV shackles.

Maybe you've heard, maybe you haven't but HKflix.com has DD's 2-Disc SE release of Hard-Boiled up for pre-order. Expected release date is 5/22/07. Cheers everyone!

Well I just got my INFERNAL AFFAIRS TRILOGY box set and after looking at the box art to part 1 I wished they had made it a digipak instead so I wouldn't have to look at that piece of turd again. But that's okay. At least parts 2 & 3 look pretty decent.

Part 1 is apparently just a reissue of the Miramax disc with dubtitles.

They're dubtitles and WTF they've not changed the cover art and packaging to match???

They're not actually dubtitles cause the dub is actually more accurate than the subs LOL! The dub sticks more closely to the old Mega Star subs while the Miramax subs go waaay off.

Oh, yeah, that's the one where they made up the subs.

The Miramax subs alternate betwwen accurate and made up. They even go as far as using profanity when there is actually none that I can detect. Thankfully, the Buddhist proverbs have not been tampered with.

It's the only way you'll ever see the film. Even Panna and the production company don't have a print of this. The one Rarescope got is the best we'll get unless someone comes forward with a print, which is VERY unlikely.

BTF 2004 looks cool. I'll stick with my UK DVD though. It's solid enough and has DTS, uncut too (AFAIK there is only one cut).

Yeah, great artwork on DD's part. Looks almost too cool for the movies itself.

I wonder what kind of extras will be included. There was barely anything on the official Thai release. How will DD fill up a second disc? 3 hours of subtitled interviews? I sure hope not!

LOL you jest but I bet that's what we'll get :D

I bet it gets two cuts too, it's the sort of film ripe for cutting.
