Little Mosque on the Prairie

Post by thelostdragon »

A new Canadian comedy show which is about a Muslim community and their new mosque in some Canadian suburb.

First episode was quite funny. They work with all the clichés.

Like the guy to the cop:

"If you don't believe me, you can deport me to Syria!"
"Hey! You don't get to chose which country we deport you to." :D

Only negative thing: It is another addition to the motion pictures, that are unable to film the Muslim prayer right, neither in speech nor in the proper prayer movements.

Yes that is very very annoying when watching movie (Esp Kingdom of Heaven), and still can't believe that they can't get it right. Well there was at episode of 24 in Season 2 which I believe they did get it kinda right...
