Starts on ITV at 8:30 tonight.

Features some actors (WHO?) fron Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Neighbours etc in an X Factor type programme.

Bet they won't be as good as the X factor lot though.

The terrible soap operas Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Neighbours, Hollyoakes, Eastenders, Home & Away have more merit than this shit.

Just seen Verity (someone from Emmerdale) sing the Corrs' classic "Runaway" - didnt like it

Her "loud" singing voice is a tad screechy/squeaky (what I heard, the song is soft and gemtle when sung by the Corrs. However she is not totally tuneless.

I do like a "limited" amount of Celebrity Big Brother though, they're usually more entertaining than the normal one plus the normal one goes on for flipping ever.

Oh and there is that Ex-Miss 2006 + Bollywood babe to oggle at, that's always a bonus 8)

Easily. I'm not a fan but it has to be said the acting in Eastenders is of a high calibre, the scripts are woeful though.

I watched bits of it last night. Alan (Neighbours I think?) can sing well, the Eric Clapton song was good. Leon was good too but obviously very nervous.

The judges aren't very good - from what I saw Michael Ball is the most constructive one, balancing out positive and negative comments, all Chris Cowey and that American guy do is leer at the girls

Not as good as X Factor is it? Part of the problem is the crappy judges - Cowey's leering over the women in particular - calling one of the girls "Double D" was particularly silly.
