PSP WMA question!
Hey, I know the PSP supports WMA, but what about WMA Pro? I can't check right now because my PSP lead is back in Sheffield.
Thanks
Thanks

Nothing if you are already dragging it around... and if you are it's one less box to care about.
If you aren't already dragging the PSP everywhere it's a bit bulky just for music though...
I've been pondering dropping my mp3 player for my cell-phone/pda combo. It's already got 1GB of changeable memory... and I drag it around everywhere (which I don't with the mp3 player).

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

It doesn't look like the PSP supports WMAPro as seen here in the list of features available in the 2.60 update: Engadget Firmware 2.60 article.
WMAPro support is not included in any other Firmware upgrade right through to the latest version (v3.03).

IMO phones suck on the user interface compared to dedicated mp3 players and have limited memory too. I thought about it but quickly went off the idea.gojensen wrote:I've been pondering dropping my mp3 player for my cell-phone/pda combo. Well, I don't use the interface much. I press play, and occasionally pause/stop. Did you miss the part where I said changable memory and 1GB? It's enough for me - I don't need to carry my entire music collection with me everywhere - and 1GB is plenty for a few days.
So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Changeable is never limited
I can have stacks and stacks of 4 gigs if I want... whereas you are limited to... what 60? (Which means I'd need... 15 memory sticks...
)
Thing is, my music library is hundereds of gigs anyways, so I can't bring it all... I have to make a selection...
