What's your favourite Kevin Smith movie?

My favourite is his first film, Clerks. A lot of sweet dialogue in that movie. Plus the characters Dante and Randall have great chemistry.

My order of preference:-
Clerks>Chasing Amy>Dogma>Mallrats>Jersey Girl>J&SBSB

Voted for Clerks. A true indie classic.

The only other one I own is the often hilarious Mallrats.

Not bothered with the rest. He should've retired after those two. 8)

I've only seen "Chasing Amy" and I hated it. I should give him another try but I'm not sure I can be bothered.

I own Clerks on video. The thing is they all look very amateurish, badly made, badly acted. A mess really.

Brad, if you've only seen "Chasing Amy" you've seen the Smith movie that "sticks" out as different IMO (apart from Jersey Girl of course)...

No one can call Dogma amateurish, badly made, badly acted (well Affleck is in it so I'm not sure about that last one :D).

I "love" Smith, in the words of romero... he's the bomb :D
So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Why not? It's a great fun flick! :D

Personally I think CLERKS is hyped a bit, and raved over by "fanboys" who need to stick to the strange fact that any good director's 1st movie is the only one worth seeing and that everything is just... well...

Not that CLERKS isn't great... it's one of my top 7 Kevin Smith movies that are so darn hard to rank in any order :D...
