Die Hard 4: Live Free or Die Hard - June 2007

thelostdragon · Post by **thelostdragon** » 19 Oct 2006, 13:55

Hey,

it's confirmed now. Maggie Q is attached to the latest Bruce Willis film.

Storyline sounds meh to be honest.

HAHA, Len Wiseman.

Markgway · Post by **Markgway** » 19 Oct 2006, 14:56

Yeah, where's John McTiernan at?

Or even Renny Harlin?

No Sam Jackson? No characters from previous installments (bar Bruce)? No famous supporting actors?

Shite title!

I would've preferred the more simple DIE HARDEST.

What's wrong with that?

LIVE FREE sounds like patriotic pants.

Jackson wasn't in the frst two. Only Bruce's wife needs to return really and she isn't that important.

What the Fuck - Enough said this will be shit (or rather average).

This was originally titled Die Hard 4.0, this internet terrorist thing has always sounded retarded.

Markgway · Post by **Markgway** » 15 Dec 2006, 17:19

He's so famous Grim got his name wrong.

Who?

Do you even know what the IMDB is

god.

He is the director behind the Underworld and Underworld Evolution (probibly the best film this year). He gets to shag Kate Bekinsale as well, lucky bastardo.

Why don't I believe that?

I'd add Bisc to that list.

Having seen the trailer, I don't think it will be anywhere near as bad as people are making out. You can't always tell by a trailer, but it shouldn't be a complete disaster that some are saying (due to the person on directorial duty). Underworld is a good movie.

Markgway · Post by **Markgway** » 16 Dec 2006, 05:57

Actually that trailer told me nothing. It looked horribly bland. I hope the full trailer offers a better omen. I have this nasty feeling that come July we'll all be sorry they made a fourth part.

I take it you have not even seen it then. See it, then come back.

Markgway · Post by **Markgway** » 16 Dec 2006, 15:37

I don't think there's much point watching a sequel to something I don't think I'll like.

Maybe when it's on TV... or if I had the disc sitting in front of me... or if I was at someone's house and they tied me to a chair and threatened physical violence to my genitals.... just maybe...?

I have and while I enjoyed it (Part 1 is better) it's sorry little ass is kicked to the moon and back by the masterpiece that is Pan's Labyrinth.

Good film but FAR from the best of the year. Casino Royale is far better too.

Going by Underworld and Underworld 2 I'm sure too it won't be a disaster but lets be honest it has a HELL OF A LOT to live up too.

Die Hard and Die Hard 3 are top class action films, Die Hard 2 was also good but too samey against Part 1.

It wouldn't be in the running for FOTY 2006 anyway, seeing as it's coming out in 2007.

grim_tales · Post by **grim_tales** » 17 Dec 2006, 12:27

Huh? Brad was referring to Pan's Labyrinth.

thelostdragon · Post by **thelostdragon** » 17 Dec 2006, 14:46

Good they showed Maggie Q in this early trailer.

killerj69 · Post by **killerj69** » 19 Dec 2006, 18:16

From the director of the UNDERWORLD movies!!!!

Dont hold much hope for this then...HOWEVER, I think it would be pretty hard to mess up a Die Hard film with Bruce in it...

is the bad guy gonna be another Gruber brother?

Markgway · Post by **Markgway** » 20 Dec 2006, 03:51

Fritz Gruber?
