Oh yeah. Most obviously in "Invincible Armour" I think. But then again, I have not seen the "Secret Rival"-films which I am still waiting to get a decent release.

Aren't they like one of the three:
cropped/non-anamorph/pan&scan
I know you would go for far less, Ken.

The Soulblades are anamorphic but have one or two technical issues

Been reading the forum a lot lately but this is my first post
I am a big fan of Bey's commentaries and will be buying some of the Dragon Dynesty DVD's of films that I allready have - just for the commentary (Seven Swords come to mind).
It is a lot of fun and very informative to hear Bey and I really missed having his commentary on some of the recent HKL releases....

I emailed Bey Logan and he replied too his emails! I asked him about Dragon Dynasty and future releases and basically:
Dragon Dynasty plan to release in the UK
They plan to release Armour of God but Drunken Master and its sequel are very unlikely.

Maybe thats why the "Kill Zone" cover had a BBFC logo on it. If DD release in the UK, maybe HKL will step up their act now they have some competition.

Me too. There's been a steady decline (who am I kidding, a rapid decline!) in the quality of their recent releases...

I'd imagine that Contender would discontinue the line once they run out of unreleased catalogue titles.

It'd be sad to see HKL go under though.

There was a list... but it's been ages since it was posted.
IIRC these are some.........
The Heroic Trio, Prison on Fire I/II, Peking Opera Blues, Long Arm of the Law, In the LIne of Duty 3, Erotic Ghost Story, On the Run, Righting Wrongs.....
Chen Lung may have a more complete list?

Keep checking eBay and you might find the HKL DVD that was released with their magazine a while ago. It's a decent quality disc - similar to early HKL releases. No pinkification at least.
