No, because as I said, it was an interactive thing running alongside the programme. I'd probably class it as semi-official. If you don't bother with The Lost Experience, you won't miss out on anything though according to the programme producers. It's just mostly about finding out clues and stuff. 8)

Season 3 - Epsisode 2 - 4.5/5
The 3rd season starts off so awesome. The flashback sequences never fail to be very interesting and the present scenes on the isle are very good now as well. I'm wondering what happened to everybody else apart from Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Sayid, Sun and Jin. What happened to Locke and Mr. Ecko? Dead after the explosion? Why did Charlie come back to the beach and didn't help either of the two? What was that big explosion/white light about? Who was the blonde woman at the end of season two who contacted the two guys at the north/south pole?
Questions, to which I hope they'll have answers to.

Because in the other episode where it confronted him, you could see flashes of his memory inside the black smoke, so it was clearly scanning his memory. Then in the last episode that you watched, it took the form of his brother, Yemi, but because Eko wouldn't confess his sins how the Cerberus wanted him to (for whatever reason), it killed him. That's why Yemi said, 'you speak to me as if I were your brother', it wasn't, it was the smoke monster

Last year when they were shown in America, they would only show a new episode every 2 or 3 weeks or something, with repeats showing in the meantime. This confused and angered viewers. So this season they have done a mini 6 episode run, followed by a 13 week break, so that they can catch up with making the episodes and then be able to show all of the rest, week after week, with no repeatsthelostdragon wrote:Too bad we'll have to wait. Why did they do that? Are they simply not finished editing them?

They are making them? As in still shooting them? I thought they were done with shooting the second season and only needed to edit the episodes.
I recently saw a Q & A with the makers and writers of Lost. Some interesting stuff there. They say that the whole story is there on paper, so there won't be any stuff they are pulling out of their asses. They also said that more than half of the secrets are already revealed. The most interesting aspect they talked about is that the story with The Others will end in season 2 or with season 3 and then there will be new adventures in the next seasons. That's good if you ask me. I can't spend the rest of the next year watching that Henry Gale-freak.

I have just started watching season 3.
It's awesome but....
...I hate those flashbacks!!!! :x :x :x
Not important to the story... they don't develop the characters... I want to see more of what's happening on the island.
The only time the flashbacks were useful were the ones in the first season. For the second season, the only good flashbacks were the ones for the new characters.
Now they're just pish min. :mumum:

Short clips from the next episodes in February are featured on ABC's coomercial break of their new show "Day Break" (which is really cool by the way).
