Laugh all you want Shen, but pretty soon you'll be 27 too, all alone, sucking custard thru a straw, and tapping out crap on a keyboard to people who couldn't care less....

Ah, shit, now I'm fucking depressed...

I wouldn't want to be 20 again. I didn't travel until I was 22 and boy it opened my world up.

I'm always one of those miserable sorts who's never happy.

Nah 18 year olds are all morons. They may as well be school brats (oh wait, they already are). I'm loving being in my 20s.

Anyways on the topic of animal cruelty... is the octupus eating scene in Oldboy wrong? Here are some facts:

1. Choi Min-Sik is a buddist and vegetarian.
2. He prayed before chewing the octopus.
3. He did not swallow the octopus.
4. Four octopuses were killed for that scene by Choi Min-Sik.
5. I tried some fried octopus in Japan and it was delicious.

Me too oh wait I already have :D . If I could afford I wouldn't be sitting here talking to you guys (no offence  )
Shen wrote:have many places i want to go, but i do really need somone to go with me
That's a common failing IMO. Yes you can get lonely but believe me you'll meet more people and overall have a better time on your own.

I've seen it many times, if you're with someone your instinct is not to mingle. Thanks to travelling I now have a network of friends all over the world (3 of the 4 corners) none of which would've happened if I was with someone.
Shen wrote:one ofr te social anxiety and for the HMS incase i fall or injure myself.
Well you won't be on your own literally and besides life's a risk, take it!

What's HMS?

Go, Go, Go.

I can't stress enough how rewarding travelling is. It opens your mind to the bigger world, gives you a better idea of how others tick and shows you some of the worlds wonders.

I honestly believe if more people travelled there would be less anger in this world, people would have a better understanding of each other instead of making lots of gross assumptions.

How on earth did this get passed the BBFC?

If I were in Choi Min-Sik's shoes I'm not sure I could've eaten it, although I'd like to taste "Sushi", call me a hypocrite I don't care.

You sure can, even as a vegetarian. There are sushi rolls with avocado or cucumber stripes in them and they taste just as awesome.

LD that photo has not only reminded me of Japan but I'm now really craving some sushi.

Guess I'll have to make do with the crappy Tesco sushi box.
