No doubt brad won't like the look of it.

Hmmmmm... I suspect if you like the kind of trash this film is based on you'll like Grindhouse, and if you don't....

A sex wee? Never heard it called that before.

To me, it has a bit of 70s Romero feel about it (e.g. Dawn of the Dead), but a bit more OTT. Looks great fun.

As long as it's not in the same vein of Kill Bill's two-for-one deal, I'll be happy :D

It's funny that only Tarantino is given millions in order to spend on making a film look cheap. Kinda paradox, isn't it?

Awesome. Will definitely watch it.

Isn't Rodriguez the opposite? He always goes on about how to cut corners, and make his film (eg Desperado) look more expensive than they really are.

This is the Rodriguez movie. Tarantino is doing a killer stunt driver movie.

So this isn't a Road House sequel? I was really surprised I liked that. Patrick Swatyzee showed good action promise.

No.

You are joking aint ya?

and by the way there is already a Roadhouse 2 out :)

Hey these 2 films fingers crossed will be the best of the year (fingers crossed tight!)
From Dusk Till Dawn and Kill Bill Vol 1 are what I want, both 5 star films, so we know they can do these genre shlocky films well. If you like their past stuff that is.

Thing is hopes are too high for me as hell they did most the advertising before they even started filming, them posters were stunning images.

Two films:

Planet Terror

forgot what the other one is called, but Kurt Russell plays a killer stunt driver or something.

Nicolas Cage in "Hellrider"? :D

No, seriously, where did the two films come from that romero mentions are supposed to come out this year? I only see "Grind House" in this thread as a new upcoming film.

The thing is with this Grindhouse project it started out as 2 films in one each 60 minutes long, but thats all went out of the window now as hell the 1st part alone is apprently near 2 hours! so it does at the moment look like both sections will be getting seperate releases :) unless its well over 3 hours + but the chances of that are slim.
