Oh hellz yeah!

From the features I've seen previously I had my doubts. But that teaser trailer is just wicked!
So long, and thanks for all the fish!

I just hope the slow motion isn't abused but that trailer was decidedly erotic.

I've faith in the director, who gave us Dawn of the Dead remake.

Looks good but then he did partly direct (and completely write) the overrated misogynistic Sin City.

Just because you didn't "get" Sin City you don't need to slam Mr Miller. Besides, this is directed by some bloke that did a zombie flick... and is only based on Frank Miller's Ronin.

And how exactly is Sin City misogynistic? There's lots of strong female characters there... albeit scantily clad

Huh? It's based on "300". "Ronin" would have been great, though.

Looks like a great music video. Not sure if I can take that kind of visual abuse for 90+ minutes those ;)

I was there, the big BNB blackout of november, 2008. We lost many that day...

Is that another way of saying I'm thick? . Sin City is overrated, very gratuitous (in a bad way) and only pretty good. For that Mr. Miller takes part of the blame.

It's not directly but Sin City very much treats women has pieces of shit on the bottom of your shoe. Yes some are luckier to have stronger characters but sex objects they most definitely are.

I definitely think the underline tone is misogynistic if not directly.

Miller's criticism towards our current society?

I love the comics of "Sin City", but what about the film? It is so popular due to its unusual look and style. Are the stories really THAT interesting? The dialogues are awesome, but that's Miller's credit.

I was more impressed by the look of Sin City rather than the story. Style over substance IMO (but what style, and stunning to look at).

Chriswt Tiger :) would have thought you would know about it for some reason, still hell its going to be different if anything, and its already standing out from other epics from the past 6 years, most of which were rather bland and po faced.

Shortly after its release, Iranian bloggers and journalists were outraged by the movie. With headlines like "Hollywood Declares War on Iranians", they chastised the movie for it's monstrous portrayal of the Ancient Persians, ancestors of modern Iranians. A cultural adviser to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called it, "American psychological warfare against Iran."
