Wasnt she also in a movie with Maggie Q? As a stuntwoman or fighter or whatever? I think she mentions something like that during the show...

What's LKF?

Could be... I've only seen the documentary once or twice. I believe she mentioned she had a prior acting epxerience and they showed a lil clip of it...

Lan Kwai Fong. Wouldnt know where that would be in HK. Is it that street where all the white tourists hang out? And the celebrities? WIth all expensive bars and stuff. If so, I hate it there.

If you walk further up the street of Lan Kwai Fong, you'll see the wall and the green staircase with the little alley next to it where they filmed part of the opening of "The Twins Effect".

For "Colour Blossoms" they also filmed at that location where the cop stood at the lower staircase.

I've also been to the 50's Club with Bey, where he also sang, lol. So I guess that's a regular place he goes to. It's a really cool club where the walls are covered with autographs from famous musicians. I only noticed Alan Tam's signature, though. :D

@Yi and Blaie:
Do you have the documentary in any form? I take it that there is no DVD of it, as I have googled it. I am really interested in that young Mainland Chinese actress. Can you confirm that she is Monica Lo/Lee/Chan?

bey's always going to 50's for karaoke, what did he sing when you were there?
its usually elvis songs. yeah the walls in 50's are cool, i sat right next to john woo's signiture, there's thousands on the walls though, a real who's who in hk entertainment.

right onto the doc, i have it on video somewhere, i'm gonna raid them and try and find it. the first time it was on was about 6 months ago on 'adventure one' on sky digital over here in the uk.

if its who i think it is, its definently NOT monica lo, she's on the doc, ands is really broad american, but its the mainland girl were trying to find out about and who i saw

hopefully i'll have more soon

BINGO! havn't found the doc but then remembered what she's been in and checked it out.

right then, her name is Li Jing, and she's in the jay chou music video 'Double Blade'
the music vids here
http://global.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.as ... 004069027/

she plays the female attack with the sword at the end who fights against Jay
i'll try do screen caps and put them in my images folder later

googleing her is hard as i believe theres an old shaw actor of the same name

i'm gonna keep looking for the doc just to confirm and get more info

its up to you really, depends if you like jay chous music.
the full MV lasts about 14 minutes, its not often you see the legend that is DANNY TREJO in a hk music vid.

also as i recall, its choreographed by chris yen (donnie's sister), and looking at the end credits bey gets a mention so maybe he recomended li yong

Thanks, mate! From the last pic I can tell that she looks quite good. The fight scenes look really cool, too. Sadly, the gifs are quite small in size.

What a shame she hasn't done moe than that. Will probably get that Jay Chou video, then. Thanks.

Sorry to bring this thread back and i know i am a huge HKL?Bey fanboy. But do you lot think that HKL will bother including commentery with their DVDs anymore? Miles Wood adn Jude Poyer were not anything special in Lik Wong.

Hope the delay was due to them getting the correct title card and original English dub.

Wishful thinking I know but anyway...I want to hear Tan Tao-liang yell"Bastards, ruined my sleep!"

Only reason I might think of picking it up, is Tan Tao Liang's kicking...
I've only seen him on the topfighter docu, and his kicks are very impressive. I love legholding.

Depends on who's leg I'm holding.

But seriously, if you love leg-holding check out Tan's pupil John Liu. He's always doing that.
