The Bradster is off to San Diego: He'll be back on the 06/09

Post by bradavon »

Okay so I'm off on my hols from the 22nd of August until the 5th of September and want to know where to visit?

I finally booked it today after getting confirmed dates from my yank friend. She and her boyfriend live in San Diego, California and bar the Grand Canyon which I will be visiting where else is a must see in the general area?

I'm paying £479 to fly on a Tuesday. Can you believe it was a whopping £200 more to fly from Friday to Monday.

FYI I'm not a Disney land man so fun such as that are out.

Cheers guys.

Pay a visit to Harvey Weinstein and kill him. That's what I would do.

(and perhaps shoot a bullet in Bey Logan's kneecap, just so he knows we mean business ;) )

The San Andreas fault line. San Diego is supposed to have a very good zoo with lots of exotic animals.

When you go to Texas later on, please get some snaps off of electric chairs. Cheers.

You can always cross the border into Tijuana, get drunk, then wake up broke in the gutter, minus a kidney. :P

Okay, seriously? Go visit the mission and enjoy the gorgeous Pacific coast and ocean. Take advantage of the ethnic diversity to sample many different cuisines. Let your hosts take your to their favorite spots.

If you're heading off to the Grand Canyon, some other places to check out in the SW are Santa Fe, Mesa Verde, and Route 66.

That's a joke right?

Thanks. I'm not a zoo fan tbh. I always feel sorry for all the caged animals.

I may/may not be going now tbh.

I have considered that, the Mexico part anyway. But am deliberately leaving Central/South America until I can visit it properly (and learn some Spanish too). I WILL travel though both one day for a few months but until then.

How far south from San Diego is it?

The mission? Sorry what's that?

I was hoping you'd reply Bobbi.

When I visited New York, St. Louis (yes St. Louis) and Chicago in 2004 I was really surprised how much ethnic diversity there actually is in America. It's one thing I eny.

I didn't realise the ratio of white to black people was as high as it is. The ratio in the UK is much lower.

Isn't Route 66 actually just a big road, no?

Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm flying off to (hopefully) sunny California in the early hours tomorrow morning. So speak to you all in a couple of weeks. I may pop in while away.

Tom: Good luck :D

Au revoir.

Now is the time for me to do what I've always dreamed of:
Ban everybody except the frenchmen (ban everybody, then  ) and rename the subforums.

Reviews and Comparisons -> The Twins Effect 2 and Casshern lovers' private subforum.
Asian film discussion -> Tom and Hungfist's Aya Ueto and Rena Tanaka shrine.

When Brad gets back, he won't even recognize BnB.

Come on everybody, let's all take off our pants (especially Shen and Bobbi) and PARTY !

I used to be "the man who loves the movies you hate".
Now I'm just "that weird french guy with a cat avatar who comes to BnB once a year for no reason and then disappears again".

Now's the time to REALLY start posting hardcore stuff in the babe-threads :D

BTW, would this be the right time to ask anyone how to best burn 10000 copies of my Ong-bak bootleg DVD, and where to best illegally sell those to make a big profit!?

Also... I dare anyone to start making anonymus phone-calls to the USA homeland security office, informing them about a skinny british kid (with an asian-fetish, like we all have) who's planning to commit terrorist acts withing the USA...

That should keep everyone busy and entertained for a while :D

Lonely forum that'd be.
