Hey, Has anyone else heard of Sami Yusuf. My wife brought two of his cd, and got to say listening to them, they are brilliant.

For people who don't know, Sami Yusuf, is a singer, but he sings religious songs, and the ones he has done so far are just sooo good.

Yeah, know of him and his songs. Pretty good stuff he did.

Do you know the rap group "Soldiers of Allah". It's a rap group and they were quite good, but unfortunately they stopped doing music as they all have their families of their own and no time anymore. Even their website isn't there. But try to get the song 1924 by them. It's really good. If you can't find it, let me know.

Will check out that. There is also a group called Outlandish which feature on one on Sami Yusuf songs. They are a good group as well, and they is a really nice song called 'Aisha'. It really nice and mellow. Will hunt for 1924...

Some people say this is fitnah, but to me, what he is promoting is just peace. I know some people say you shouldn't have music, but still if you listen to his words, they are beautiful.

Hey Kurgan, Yeah you are right, it a tricky one, because i have this discussion with my elder's, dad, uncles, and i can see where they are coming from, but I don't know, it just that if someone promotes peace and beauty then......

Anyway, the songs can be heard without music as well

...
