Just noticed that BRIDE WITH WHITE HAIR is listed on that NZ site as TAI SENG even though it's in the EASTERN EYE sale section. I REALLY don't want the TS edition (that's the cover they show as well). Can anyone confirm which version they ship? As it's too far for me to return a wrong item. I was going to get that one and VIOLENT COP but might just get INNER SENSES instead. Comments...?

I seriously bet it's the EE DVD. They also show the cover art for "Tale of Two Sisters" as the UK Tartan DVD but the studio says AV Channel.
But then it does say Tai Seng next to the distributor. I'd ask yourself as time is running out and you'll get a quicker answer.
INNER SENSES is coming from Tartan so it means INNER SENSES USA (no NTSC-PAL issues) and therefore eventually a decent Western price.

If confirmed to be the right version I'd definitely opt for BRIDE WITH WHITE HAIR and VIOLENT COP as those are the best all over the world and won't be beated for some time to come.Markgway wrote:Just noticed that BRIDE WITH WHITE HAIR is listed on that NZ site as TAI SENG even though it's in the EASTERN EYE sale section. Almost definitely yes. I just want to confirm:EvaUnit02 wrote:So Brad, do you want me to order them for you?
Game Planet Store NZ Direct - $44.95
Eva Store - $30 + $9.04 + 2.1% = $39.86
Does this number sound right?
I chose "Permit Impression or PAT Label" as it was cheaper. What on earth are those two? Where's cash?
I weighed two DVDs which came to 240 Grams and seeing as you have to enter in Kilograms I put 0.24Kg which came back as $9.04.
I assume I'm "Sending you money" via Paypal right? If so can you pm me your PayPal e-mail address (I can't believe I don't have it). I can then let you know my postal address.
It's free to send money so if it turns out I've under paid you I can always send some more.

Nah, I can pick it up from the store (I said this in the original post) and save on the shipping to myself. Remember that there's also the Paypal 3.4% USD fee + $1NZD Paypal wiring fee.bradavon wrote:I've just realised I need to add $4.95 to that cost as you need to pay postage to get it to you. Making it $44.81
Is that correct?
So let's see:-
$30 NZD + $9.04 NZD
=$39.04 NZD
=$24.3118 USD + 3.4% USD
=$25.1384012 USD
=$40.3596473 NZD + $1 NZD
=$41.3596473 NZD
=$25.7564436 USD
=$25.80 USD (1dp)
Ah nevermind the 2.1% NZD currency conversion fee, that's IF I want to charge a foreign currency to my CC - we're dealing with NZ Dollars so no need to bother with that.
Don't know, but they do slap some stickers on international air parcels at the PostShop (they no longer call 'em Post Offices here - some are run out of dairies, petrol stations, pharmacies and even video rental joints now) though.I chose "Permit Impression or PAT Label" as it was cheaper. What on earth are those two? Where's cash?

I gave Gameplanet a ring and they confirmed that BWWH is from the NZ distributor of Madman titles - highly likely that's it's a Madman title then. This the entry from the Madman NZ website, it says that the distributor is Eastern Eye. It has to be a Madman title then.bradavon wrote:If confirmed to be the right version I'd definitely opt for BRIDE WITH WHITE HAIR and VIOLENT COP as those are the best all over the world and won't be beated for some time to come.
So:-
The Isle + Kwaidan for Brad.
Inner Senses + Violent Cop for Mark
Can anyone please contact Mark to confirm that he wants the order placed? Thanks.
EDIT: I've placed the order Brad for your stuff, they'll send me an email when it's ready to pick up. It's never too late to cancel BTW. GP are cool with that sort of thing.

No thanks, Eva.
I'll place the order myself on-line.
It was only a trade I was initially interested in. In other words I buy something from the UK for you and you the EE titles for me, but I understand you don't want to put too much on your card. At least Brad can send you payment.
Also thanks for checking on TBWWH. Seems that it is the EE edition. Wish they'd been a bit more certain, but I'm sure it'll be fine. And if a Tai Shit does turn up I'll just have to return it and get a refund or replacement plus additional postage they owe me. After all the offer does say TWO EASTERN EYE for $30.

It's the same here but we still call them post office.EvaUnit02 wrote:Don't know, but they do slap some stickers on international air parcels at the PostShop (they no longer call 'em Post Offices here - some are run out of dairies, petrol stations, pharmacies and even video rental joints now) though.
I don't understand what the difference is if you're going to place the order yourself anyway. You just send PayPal Money and Eva does the rest. You have a PayPal account right?Markgway wrote:I'll place the order myself on-line.
But then it's not the first time I've not understood you
Nice one thanks.EvaUnit02 wrote:EDIT: I've placed the order Brad for your stuff, they'll send me an email when it's ready to pick up. It's never too late to cancel BTW. GP are cool with that sort of thing.
Why are you switching back and forth between USD and NZD? Would AUD be better than USD or does it make no difference to you?EvaUnit02 wrote:So let's see:-

What does 1dp mean? If you could lmk your e-mail address via PM we're good to go.

Rounded to 1 Decimal place (first digital after the decimal point). I'm surprised that you don't know what it is, it's basic high school arithmetic dude. What does 1dp mean?
Will send PM.If you could lmk your e-mail address via PM we're good to go.
I'll place the order then LD.LD wrote:Eva, is it too late or can I still ask you to order something for me? If so I'd like to have:

Yup, think that sounds right, and the shipping was pretty fast, took around 5 days I think. Love the packaging, so if anyone who hasn't got 2046 LE, bloody get itEvaUnit02 wrote:I think Slasher's 2046 LE was about $8 or 9nzd IIRC.
BTW there's still stacks of 2046 LEs in Borders if anyone wants one.

You sure? I think Princess Blade is an NTSC-PAL conversion. The runtime is 93mins according to the one review I can find of it (identical runtime to the NTSC discs).Eva, could you order The Isle and Princess Blade for me?
Should be about right, but we don't know the weight of the envelopes/boxes that I'll be using; whatever is on hand at the time. Eg Cd-wow boxes.bradavon wrote:It should be $25.80 Hung as that's what I'm paying and it's the same across Europe.

It's okay. The only decent options are the french and japanese releases, and I've already got too many unsubbed discs waiting for subs (and a whole lot more coming soon)EvaUnit02 wrote:You sure? Yeah. Besides, I'll be happy to pay Eva a dollar or two extra for doing all thisEvaUnit02 wrote:Should be about right, but we don't know the weight of the envelopes/boxes that I'll be using; whatever is on hand at the time.
