Really dig the movie as a whole, very stylish and violent. Always easy to single out Gigi Leung's performance as well, especially due toA war named desire
her death scene. Never seen anything quite like that.

Actually I happen to agree, even though very few critics would admit to it. The remake of NIGHT is a rarity in that it's sharper and better acted, and rather than repeat the original twist ending, they thoughtfully offer us a new one. But I maintain that the DAWN remake isn't a patch on the Romero classic. It's like the teenage version of what was an adult film.
