Yeah, you´re right Yi-long.

It´s Hero aka. Shanghai Hero, with Takeshi Kaneshiro, Yuen Biao (in one of his best roles ever IMO), Yuen Tak, Yuen Wah...
It´s a remake of the legendary "Boxer from Shantung" (although I have to admit that I´ve never seen that one).

I love this film, it´s music, the action scenes, Yuen Biao´s strong performance... everything.
It´s one of my favorites.

@Bisc: How great to see my name on the famous list. I´m almost moved to tears.

hey,

personally, Hero becomes a misguided project due to the inclusion of comedy. If it would've stuck with a full on serious mode, the production values and violence might've meant something. Yuen Biao shines though but his best performance in my opinion was in On The Run.

Wow... it's been such a long time since I last saw that flick...
When I saw Bisc mentioning SHanghai Affairs I almost wanted to change MY guess to Shanghai Grand, cause I could have sworn there was a simular scene in that movie...

Luckily I stuck with Hero

I'll post a screenshot a bit later in the evening...
