The disc will be available to own from the 5th September, and should retail at around $19.98 in total. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with both English Dolby Digital 5.1 and Mono tracks. Extras will include a commentary by Fan Club Presidents "Mad Man" Mike Ellenbogen & Bill Brennan, a Making Of Retrospective featurette, a Music Retrospective featurette, the theatrical trailer, and the international trailer

No idea, never seen it. Only heard about it fairly recently when that ridiculously expensive R2UK Rocky Horror set was announced.

I've never seen Rocky Horror. Would like to though, cuz Tim Curry is cool.

Tim Curry is excellent as Dr. Frank-N-Furter. The song has one fun song after the other. The R1 looks to be the way to go:

But:

1. The 2 Disc version is OOP (the extras are great and lots of fun too)
2. It has the original Mono BUT for a film with so much music the DD5.1 really adds something. It's a faithful 5.1 remix.
3. It contains both the US and UK cuts BUT I'd hate to lose anything from the film so for me I have zero interest in seeing the shorter US cut.

Put another way get whichever is cheaper (R1, UK R2 or R4).

The UK R2 (I suspect the other regions are the same) also has a third cut via an Easter Egg which has the film black and white until the leads get to the mansion, which was how "Richard O'Brien" originally wanted the film. I believe he later changed his mind. It works pretty well but I prefer it in colour.
