But it's definitely not taking place in HK.

Hmmm, how about Full Moon in New York, by Stanley Kwan?

I'm sure it's not "An Autumn's Tale". I've seen that one quite often and can't remember such a scene. Could be "Full Moon", though.

I love that film, don't you? *sniff* It's one of my all-time favorites. :)

It's a really wonderful film. I love how Yun-fat plays the jealous type or beating up that restaueant owner. Didn't make me go *sniff* though, like "All About Ah Long" did.

hey,

my guess, had bruce not beat me, would have to be an autumn's tale. Full Moon in New York didn't quite have any romantic scene like that, a bit more grittier in its look too. But then again, you never know...

AAT really moves me a lot more than Ah Long because Johnnie To really does push to manipulate a bit too much. Mabel Cheung knows subtlety works just as well and the simple beats is what gets to me.

hey,

should be the end of Chow and Cherie's trip around New York, eating chicken wings and drinking champagne. Leads into the apartment scene... or one of them rather. Second half of the film.

There aren't many well known HK movies set in New York so I thought it could be An Autumn's Tale. :D New screengrab coming up soon. :)
